I met this seemingly high interest girl at the gym and got her number. After workout, I text her "xxx (my name) . how to spell your first and last name?" (I didn't ask and type into my phone onsite because I wanted to continue working out and there were a lot of people in the gym. I didn't want to come across as someone desperately wanting girls.) She hasn't responded me yet, it's been a day passed. I feel she showed some fake high interest, or did I do something wrong?

Another question. I try to text girls my name as soon as I get their numbers so they have my number as well and when I contact them in future they know who I am. Is it the right thing to do?

She probably wasn't high interest to begin with. But assuming the number she gave was real, I think you texted her too soon. Wait a few days. Also if you want to make a memorable impression over the phone you might have better luck calling first instead of texting... the downside to this is it's much easier to screw up, so if you're not good with phone conversations just stick to texting.

This is what I've been doing lately, but it's usually tentative -- no confirmed dates. Just like do u want to go ice skating sometime, if she says yes, I take the number. Is it fine?

Young girls 18-27 (not really age dependent) who are hot and knows they are, have more orbiters than you can ever imagine.

Most of all, they do not know what they want - and they will know how to manipulate with the best of them. It is not until they reach their mid-30's - when they have lost their best physical appeal and starts to wrinkle a bit, do they rest on their self-entitlement behavior.

So you have an uphill battle. First of all - if you 'appear' outwardly as a player and if you are too smooth and too good looking (especially tall), then she will categorize you as a threat and as a 'Player'. You have a double whammy to get past her b!tch wall.

Depending on how fooked up she is, she may just have too many guys in her life and she don't need another one at the moment. You will have to find something else in common with her to get her attention. Working out in the same gym is shallow and there is absolutely nothing to put you apart than 100 other horney men that approaches her daily.

That´s good, but don´t say "sometime". Suggest a specific time. If she´s busy then, say "what´s your schedule looking like this week?" And then pick a day she´s free.
