I wonder if there is a post similar to this for heterosexuals?:moon:

I got a good pair of sunglasses for about $30. I spent forever looking around for a particular style that suited my face really well, and the only pair that was a "perfect match" for my face ended up being some 30 dollar pair I found. They're comfortable, polorized, look good......that's all I care about.

Well i have a pair of Wayfair sunglasses and a pair of Oakley Flak Jackets. If your a hat person id get the Oakleys if your more of a preppy beach person id get Wayfairs but for me it depends on my mood and the occasion and the weather that determines if i wear my Oaks and a hat or my Wayfairs. I hope this helped:)

I used to have nice sunglasses in my youth, all brands. The hot ones back then were Bolle Irex, Ray Ban shooting glasses, Wayfarers, Oakleys, BaloRamas (Dirty Harry looking rayban wraparounds). These days I go in bargain stores and buy them for $2 a pair so when women and friends steal...erm "borrow" them, I just get 10 more pairs. If they are picked out right at the right stores, most of the cheap ones are better looking than any of the expensive ones I ever had. They are great trinkets for flirting too that you don't care if you get back or not. Go get yourself some cheap sunglasses.

I've lost some expensive sunglasses in my time. These days, I rock these. They're relatively cheap, they're polarized AND they're ballistic safety glasses that I can wear to the gun range. They have a bunch of styles on their actual website. I couldn't tell the difference between the lenses on these and my more expensive glasses.

I get the cheapest amber polarized fishing glasses I can find. They keep me from squinting in the sun and giving me a wrinkled brow. Usually you can scoop them up by the dozen for under $10 a piece. Anything pricey or expensive will "grow legs" if you set them down.

Just remembered another one, the good old bugeye Vuarnets. Anybody remember those when they were a big fad? Such a ripoff costwise and not that good looking, but good visuals while high LOL. Maybe best stoner glasses from the 80s.

I wear glasses all the time. I don't like photochromic lenses since they tend to darken too early for me and don't work very well in the car. I don't like prescription sunglasses since they aren't covered by my insurance and I don't like carrying around another pair of glasses.

I've had some sorry looking clip ons in the past. I looked ridiculous. These clip ons make me look significantly less ridiculous. Not completely but less so.

No idea what a "Wayfair" is. And most Oakleys are for try hard tools. Way to bump an 8 year old thread. I suspect spambot.

And FFS FairShake get rid of clip on ANYTHING. Get contacts or surgery.

Ray-Bay aviators. They never go out of style.

You need to research what kind of glasses look good for your face shape, I see people buying sunglasses that clash with their facial structure. Make sure they're good quality, polarized, name-brand sunglasses. Buy cheap polarized ones for when you're doing any activity that you might lose or break your glasses in. I'm glad I bought a bunch of cheap aviator sunglasses for when I go surfing, I keep the real ones in the car.

I'm blind in one of my eyes. Surgery can't fix it and I don't like contacts because I like something covering my good eye just in case.

Clip-ons tend to suck but these are the best options out there.

Peeks has some pretty cool styles. Angular Boxy, strong frames with the spring loaded arms and polarized. 25bux. I don't bother with expensive ones because every pair I have ever had falls off my head when I forget I put them on my hat.

*shrugs*
