...I have a date AT work? And the word "date" is the setting, not the person? Yes, that's right: somehow, I have a date at work next week. We work at a very large company with great facilities. Because this HB and I have near incompatible schedules, we ended up here. I initially hinted at an off-day we both have in the near future, she said she'd like to meet up on an earlier day in between our shifts at work. Since it fits into my schedule anyway, that's fine.
With that squared away, a conflict hit me: How the he!! am I supposed to game on a date that takes place AT work? Kino on my end is unlikely (she can kino) since we're at work. I can't make a move on her during the date because, again, at work. And I will need to keep any flirtations in check for the same reason. What should I be trying to do here, give the unusual setting? The obvious goal here is to get her comfortable enough so that our next outing would be OUTSIDE of work; we don't each other really well yet, but this "date" should help with that.
FYI, we work at a very large company w/ state of the art facilities (the cafeteria looks like a restaurant). While I am aware of the whole "pen/company ink" thing, there are a number of couples at the company, and I trust my own actions to keep things smooth no matter what, so that is not a worry here.
