Lately ive been replying like this...

"Lifes good, but lets face it, thats a boring question, ask me something a little more....adventerous"

works a treat, most girls come out with something crazy, and then youve got yourself a convo!

if a girl says "ummm like what?" reply by saying "use your good girl imagination" then they normally say im not a good girl, or i dont know what to ask then joke that they are boring and normally you can get into a decent convo like this!

easy!

Just be aware what the motive is behind their "question". They don't have much specific to say either, they are just opening you. They want to interact with you. This is good, the alternative is they ignore you!

Be cheerful, smile and happy to see them ("reward" them for interacting with you). In response you can say anything, if you want to "maximise" your response, have a funny/outrageous/interesting story/observation to mention (you can re-use the same one on diff. peeps). e.g. "You know what I saw ....." or "You know what I heard...". Alternatively, make comment on something you know they are interested in, e.g. if they play sports "How did that game go....". Or just enter a plain old conversation, nothing too deep and serious e.g. "so, you going to x party on x day...". But, conversation skills is another topic altogether.

If you get asked common questions like the aforementioned, take it as an opportunity to respond with something unique.

I live down under in Melbourne, Australia and we've been getting some pretty nasty rain. Anyway, weather is always one of the openers girls would use to talk to me, so a good way to respond to "Pretty crap weather we're having to day, eh?" Would be: "You kidding? Its beautiful. Just like the rains down in Africa". That should get them interested... like "You've been to Africa" or something.

I'm sure somewhere in the "tips" part of this forum, there's another line about the tropical weather up in Cuba, but that's another patter (unless you've actually been to Cuba... or Africa.. or anywhere else that has interesting climate)

Then use your C+F routine, or bridge conversations with funny stories, etc. You know the routine... keep her interested, attracted, kiss-close,etc.etc.

Remember: There is no one method to getting a girl's number. Use what's comfortable to you, and make the best out of it

I just usually give a brief synapsis of what is actually up.

Here is what I would say right now: "I just started working now, got accepted onto the National Team for the FCCLA, some chick at a bar just handed me her number and said 'lets hang out sometime' and I got a girlfriend, and I am very happy with it all. So hows your life going?"

Usually for most that will get them to ask questions and then you can move on from there. Just make sure that what you say is fun, important, and interesting.

Working now is fun because I have my own odd job business. Getting accepted onto a National Team for the FCCLA is awesome and exciting for anyone. Anyone who is male wants to know everything on that story. And it shows that I am happy. Then I ask them whats up which usually isn't that exciting and they are like oh lets find out more about what he is up to.

hmmm, ppl dont usually like boasters, when someone says whats up, theyre just doing it to be polite, they dont really care wots up, just say, "nothing, wots up with you?"....thats what they expect

Well the point is not to give them what they expect like every other person would. Thanks for ppl who replied, I get it now.

when somebody asks me whats up... i usually fix my shirt back straight and make sure its tucked in right. make sure my belt is pulled tight enough. and i tell them "the sky, the lights, the ceiling" then i adjust my glasses.

fool-proof
