this is the truth.

but, if a girl has the nerve to ASK you to buy her a drink, she is stupid as hell, and you have every right to make her feel so.

there is nothing wrong with buying the woman you are interested in a drink! this is NOT afc! this is proof that you are the man, and that you take care of yours, so to speak, and if it is sincere, it is very attractive.

I really do appreciate everyone who are making "valid" points of why a man should never buy a woman a drink (unless they dating/relationship). Females will never understand this concept because of selfish reasons. Yeah they might say a gentleman buys drinks because it has always been like that but they fell to realize about the mentality of women back then versus now.

Fellows, how many times have you bought a drink for a female and recieve less than a conversation? Females of today complain about a man always following them when the guy buy them drinks(AFC) but won't give the man at least some conversation.

From my experience when I didn't buy a female a drink, I got her number with ease......I know a lot a fellows can vouch for that. So keep it up my fellows Don Juans and she will have no choice but to respect you.

I never knew buying me a drink was such a horrible thing! My goodness! I've been married for quite a long time now, but when I dated, it was considered an honor to have a man buy a drink for you! And no, I'm not an old woman, I have a three year old daughter. I've even bought drinks for men, it does work both ways you know?

I did have some friends that used some men this way, but not all of us women are users, okay? I wouldn't let just any man buy me a drink either. If a man wanted to buy me a drink, it would require a nice conversation first; I enjoy the company of others. If he wanted to dance, I would welcome the opportunity.

Please do not think all of us women are this way.

You guys are CORRECT about girls using guys for drinks. I also listen in on girls conversation whenver I'm in class with nothing better to do or on the bus ride home etc.

Well anyways, one day in class I was listening to two hot girls talking about their weekend downtown at the nightclubs. One girl said, "I love when guys come up to you and offer to buy you a drink and in my mind I'm thinking sure I'll use you to just get me a drink."

THIS CHICK ACTUALLY SAID THIS...IT COMPLETELY BLEW ME AWAY!

Here's another situation, this girl has a boyfriend and he gave her his credit so she could buy drinks for herself all night, even if he wasn't around (ya this guy is loaded and p*ssy whipped), well anyways this chick comes up to me and asks:

HER: Will you buy me a drink?

ME: "No" -- this is the BEST response there is! I said no with a shocked looked on my face whiles slightly nodding my head left to right and then I continued to ignore her.

My AFC Standing beside me: BrWnSugaMan, you are the first guy ever to turn a drink down to a girl. (keep in mind this guy is totally AFC)

ME: (I just shrugged it off, and changed the topic).

*This really got me thinking, before I even read this thread so I had to reply. Even if a girl has money to buy herself drinks, even if it is NOT her money...she still does not want to ask a bartender for drinks. I think it is a self-esteem, power, ego-boost to ask a guy to buy her a drink. It was like she doing it for sport. She could of just easily used the credit-card that her boyfriend gave her.

Another thing that I can't get over is she KNOWS that I'm friend with her bf and her bf is in the club, so why ask me to buy her a drink? It's not like at the end of the night if we hit it off...we're gonna end of fvcking. She's gonna be messing around with her boyfriend.


I also noticed that she was really "buzzed" and must have suckered many other AFC that night.

If i had enough fun with them, i will buy a drink for me and my buddie, then continue to drink my beer infront of her, just to watch there reaction. It's good fun, try it.

ME: Yeah sure... (then don't buy anything, just talk and have fun with her)

If they won't go away, just say you're going to the bathroom and then ignore them.
