So there's been a little of an unexpected development in all this. Yesterday I found myself talking on instagram to a woman who I had first met back in college some years back. This is a girl that I had a very brief fling with back in those days. I had just been commenting on her insta story and I got to talking to her on there and it turned out that she's just moved to the same city I live and she wanted to catch up with me. So earlier today I met up with her for coffee (her idea), and she was happy to see me and we had a good time catching up. Not sure exactly how this is gonna pan out or if I should try to pursue this in earnest but it was at least nice to meet up with a woman for any reason, even if it was as simple as getting coffee. Obviously I shouldn't invest too heavily in this, but I'm at least seeing what comes of it.

So I met up again with the girl I described in this post I'm quoting, and both of these interactions didn't go bad but as the situation stands now it's not looking like anything like a hookup or something similar will result from this. So now I'm yet again back to square one. The whole experience has really highlighted to me how far removed from women I actually am at this point. It had been so long since I had even hung out with a woman at all. It was foolish of me to get my hopes up like this, to think that this interaction would have led to anything. Obviously the solution to something like this would be to meet new women who I can date in earnest. But as I have already said so much in my posts, I literally can't meet any women to date anymore. Online dating is dead, real life yields no prospects, so what's left? I have a very bad feeling that 2024 will be another year of not going on a real date and not meeting any women I could actually go out with. Every time I get my hopes up I get reminded that most likely I'll never find what I'm looking for as far as women/relationships.

As far as I can tell, the dance is pretty much over at this point in life. The fact that even being a musician apparently didn’t give you the clout to overcome this is remarkably blackpilling to me.

That said, if I had independent wealth (I seem to recall someone mentioning you do), I would geomaxx, for whatever it’s still worth. The grass is not as much greener as it once was, but it’s still an improvement.

I think somewhere in eastern europe may be better, I’m actually not that attracted to asian women and I don’t want to perpetuate the “awkward white guy with an asian girl”stereotype. Are there any books about geomaxxing? The whole process is overwhelming to me and it seems like such a huge risk, moving to another continent just in the hope to meet women. Wouldn’t that be a huge gamble? Again the point stands that if I have trouble meeting women in America, how can I expect abroad to be any different?

Different market conditions make it different. As far as stereotypes go, who gives a ****? **** them and their self-serving “opinions.” There’s nothing risky about moving to southeast Asia on a trust fund. If you want Slavic women, whatever, but they don’t have a good rep and those countries westernized quickly.

It can be different elsewhere because you will have a potential relative advantage in money and status, and the women will look for different qualities (less emphasis than America on being a tatted up retard and more on being a provider, for instance). Whenever I’m in Asia, I find a reliable chick in about 24 hours.

But aren’t girls like that just after you because of your money and the fact you’re a foreigner? I’d imagine in eastern europe I’d still have to approach women, and thus I’d need to get good at approaching before even considering trying over there. But even if I travel to Europe for a couple weeks and try to meet women, I doubt I’d be able to actually get a girlfriend in that short of a timeframe. I’m really not one of those guys that are capable of hooking up with women while traveling. I wish I could pull something like that off but for someone like me I can’t count on it

Not particularly, no. The women I’ve dated abroad haven’t wanted anything material from me. I promise you it’s an improvement over the groveling for egotistical *****s they try to talk up around here.

But how do I go about approaching these foreign women? Keep in mind that I've never gotten a date from approaching and all hookups and relationship in my life have all come from apps. What do I actually need to do to meet and date girl in Europe? I've never been able to meet women while traveling, so how would I be able to hook up with one while abroad? I always get so jealous hearing other guys talk about having hooked up with girls while traveling since I've never been able to accomplish anything near that myself.

Well when I studied abroad in Austria I used tinder and I was talking to a girl on there who would have gone out with me if I hadn't only been there temporarily. But because I was only supposed to be there a few months she said no
