I have this profile on a dating site and about a month ago this girl starts sending me messages out of nowhere. We made some small talk for a little while. I was getting bored with it and she sounded uninterested anyway so I never bothered messaging her after that. So its a month later and she messages me last night. Talked for 15min or so. Just bull**** about school and work. Its obvious that this is going nowhere by instant messages. I hardly know her at all but she must be interested if she keeps trying to talk to me. Should I just say something like "i really don’t like trying to get to know a person through instant messages, I would much rather do it in person. So we should get together sometime" or something to that effect?

yes she is hot or I wouldnt even bother. I dont like meeting girls off the internet either but I have. Most of the time we talk for a while. Enough to build some sort of trust. After which I wait for her to ask to meet. Normally doesnt take too long but I havent established any level of trust with this girl and dont want to come off as a creep asking to meet her. does that make sense?

i think your first thing to do is establish rapport. help her open up to you.
do the cube over the IM client. it worked for me.
once she starts telling you stuff about herself and her private life then you're golden. it's like, you got her trust somewhat and the convos wont be too boring and slow paced.

Never heard of that but it sounds great. Im sure I could pull that off in person but not too sure by IM. Do you have a chat log of you doing this? I think I'll try this out on some not so hot girls that message me and see how it goes.

I got one chick right now that I'm in a similar situation with. I ask her questions about herself, and she doesn't answer them, instead she keeps changing the subject. Real annoying, how hard is it to answer a straight forward, harmless question.
