What to do with this girl, she behaves strange

Greetings Dons!

Yesterday I hung out with two girls (sisters) that I met through a female friend of mine. The four of us hung out (me and friend included) and one of the sisters I particularly liked and thought she was cute, but it was very difficult to read her. The younger sister was a bit of a handful and standoffish compared to her older sister, but she at least allowed me to talk to her for a little while and didn't seem to mind. Her older sister (the one I think is cute) wouldn't allow that as the one time I tried to see if I could go up to talk to her she avoided me when I was nearing and went the other way haha. I don't get it, she was fine talking to her sister and friend, but not to me and I honestly don't know why because I never gave her reason to dislike me or anything....and I'm not ugly. This was her behavior in general, although one time she did come next to me to crack a joke which was uncharacteristic of her that day. So by the end of the night, the only things I had said to her was "hi" and "bye"

She's what you could call a "quiet" type I guess and I am 1 year older. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Recognize the dynamics here. Sisters protect each other. They are also competitive. There are mixed emotions going on. I'd say pick one and try to see her alone.

I considered that and haven't ruled it out. But she is shy so who knows. I've had girls like me that have done the same thing.

It's just annoying now because my friend keeps harrasing me about it since yesterday. She asked me if I liked her because apparently I was being more of a comedian then usaul..haha. I told her neither yes or no, but she keeps callin her my girlfriend and it's very annoying.
