Last Wednesday, I went to a local bar, got three girls' numbers, two of which I probably could've slept with, one I went home with.
Last Friday, I spent almost the whole night grinding with some hottie on the dance floor in the club...SERIOUS grinding.
Fast-forward one week. I went out last night to a hole-in-the-wall I like to hang out at. There were definitely girls running around, but for some reason I just WASN'T FEELING IT. Sure, I chatted up a few women and they seemed responsive, but not sexual. And I know it was my fault...I could feel it in the way my posture was slipping, my shoulders were hanging, my smile was forced. I felt kind of AFC, and although I was chilling even without the chix, it did feel like an awkward low compared to what I was last week.
I seem to have been stuck in this cycle for a while...a cycle of highs and lows. And it seems like it's been pulling progressively higher, and I have a feeling the next "upswing" is gonna be something else, but I just don't like the idea of being set on this DJ-rhythm where I can't turn this attitude on and LEAVE it on.
Anyone else ever feel like this? When you swing to the low point of your "cycle," what do you do?
