What to do in this situation?

Alright so I was at a friends with a plate I'm spinning. We both live in apartments with flatmates so it would be hard to fu*k in our rooms, but we have 3 times already. Anyways on our way back to campus I park in the parking lot and we start making out. Then we realized this is incredibly shady ppl could easily see us (and were watching).

Then we went to a darker place but it still wasn't ideal. Her seat wouldn't recline, it's a tiny a** compact car, and we just finished smoking so we both had cottonmouth like you wouldn't believe, it was so dry I felt like I was kissing the sticky side of a post-it note. I probably could have escalated to s*x if I tried but honestly I didn't feel totally comfortable given the location and situation, and the car is too small. So after like 5-10 minutes making out and feeling her up a little bit she says she's really tired and wants to go to bed. So we walk back and she kisses me on the lips when we go and that was it.

Also it wasn't an option to go back to one of our places, we both had people over.

So part of me feels like an AFC for being hesitant and not very aggressive. But at the same time it just didn't feel right in a tiny car with no room mouths dry as f*ck and people literally within watching distance of us (It was 1 am, but still).

So how should I have handled this differently, if at all. The last thing I want to be thought of is the guy who can't seal the deal, but given the situation I don't really see how I could have made the move without being extremely risky not to mention uncomfortable. Hope this didn't kill her attraction but we've already fu*ked multiple times and she did kiss me goodnight.

I don't think it killed her attraction.
But the flatmates part, do you have your own bedroom which locks? Should've just taken here there, put some music on and fack her there. It's your flatmates, not your parents, so whatever, don't give a crap.

I've found myself in similar situations too, especially the part about not wanting to go all the way with a girl due to people watching. The part about getting high, having cotton mouth and trying to escalate in a small car takes me back, man. Good times.

If you had the car keys, "i need something for this cotton mouth," driven to the store, got some juice and then drove to an isolated area. Or just skip the store part.

You could have taken her back inside into a bathroom.

You could have found a neighbors front or back yard and hopped the fence, as long as you know the neighborhood is chill. Girls love exciting stuff like breaking and entering. It's too late for that now, but just some ideas for the future. Climb a roof, or something. That's good dating advice too.

Anyway, I think you'll be fine. This wasn't a make or break type of situation, especially because you both smoked. You don't know how much your story takes me back to when I was 20.
