When a girl does this, they are trying to justify their own value and make you think that they are a catch. That she is desired and that every man wants to be with her. That you should work harder to and continue to chase her. The reality is that you are the prize now and she should be chasing you.Yaounde said:Just a generic question. This has happened a couple to times to me and I've never quite been sure the best way to deal with it. I have a few ideas but I curious what you all think. How do you shift that frame to your favour?

I had an ex tell me how "muscular" her ex-bf was. So I decided to creep his Facebook page out of boredom and saw a guy who was essentially fat and husky. Their was nothing athletic about the guy at all. She also went on to tell me about another bf who was a "professional" mountain biker, so I looked him up and noticed that he actually sucked and was being beaten by novice weekend warriors.
It's just another tactic by a woman to inflate her own ego. Ignore that BS and focus on you!
Act aloof and just nod your head and say nothing and blow past that conversation and start talking to her about other things. CONTROL the conversation and talk to her about things YOU want to talk about. Like what she'll be making you for breakfast tomorrow morning, lol.Yaounde said:Hey Expos,
Yeah, philosophically that's easy but I figure there must be a way to easily a) get them to STFU about other dudes and b) flip the frame so that they start trying to qualify themselves directly to you.
Your ex-gf actually give you the first and last name of her previous bfs and this happened twice. Isn't that at risk of you finding out the truth about her and dumping her like a hot potatoe.expos said:I had an ex tell me how "muscular" her ex-bf was. Haha. I've used something like that before lol.Yaounde said:Yeah, I think my best response was, "yeah, I've been to a gay bar, tons of good lucking dudes hit on me too. Am I supposed to be impressed?"
And then she keep on talking and I left.

Fair enough. You saw her tag photos rather than her volunteer any information. Wow. Your LinkedIn page? So you don't cut off contact with our exes, huh? I deleted a LinkedIn connection request from my "ex" and hit unsubscribe. What's the point of keeping contact so potential lovers can see your page?expos said:Didn't care. She was tagged in a few photos with her ex and I was able to check them out through FB. A couple months later, when we were no longer, her new BF started checking me out. How do I know? Well, he was visiting my LinkedIn page a couple times in a the span of a few days. So, she trashed or bragged about me to this guy. Typical triangulation game by chicks....
She volunteered the information. Then a couple days later I creeped her page while I was still banging her and saw a bunch of old photos of them on her page that she didn't delete. That's when I notice he wasn't "muscular" at all.corrector said:Fair enough. You saw her tag photos rather than her volunteer any information. Wow. Your LinkedIn page?
