Women always look at shoes. I don’t know why but I do know they form a very strong impression of men based on this one thing.

To us men, this doesn’t make any sense, but that is how things work in women’s world.

Google Zappos.com (They're prety well known for their massive shoe selections) ..You can either order online or find the best pair(s) and then Google or call a store near you to see if they carry the style and brand(s) you saw and printed out to show them when you arrive.

For Boots try getting Some doc martens, palladiums ,sorel ,and converse boots.

I even have a pair of black short hunter wellington boots for the rain.

As for sneakers i have some really stylish pumas. Cop some 574 new Balance, toms ,balenciaga (these cost bread) and margialas(these cost bread also).

I got maaad compliments and literally every shoe i`ve worn outside. The majority being girls. Dudes come up And ask me where i got my shoes all the Time. Also its not just about your shoes, you gotta put them together nicely with a good outfit.

Living n NYC helps to being that this is like the mecca of fashion in the U.S.

I've been rocking these boots by Floyd all winter so far, and have nothing but constant compliments. Women love them, men want them. For some reason they only have black on the site now, but I purchased them in a brown.

Try to stay away from sneakers as much as possible, there is nearly ALWAYS a better alternative to wearing sneakers. Sneakers aren't going to make an impression on any women unless you're still in high school.

A nice dress shoe or loafer can always be worn with jeans. Try to get something other than black - a nice brown or oxblood looks amazing with dark denim. If it's the weekend and you feel like being a little more casual a nice boat shoe should do the trick.

You might find this article helpful. Good luck.

I'm personally not into boat shoes, but those Floyds look pretty good. Nothing special though.

Take a look at these REHAB shoes I was lookin at in the store recently. I didn't see a pair I liked. But they're dutch so for anyone living in the US or so, these are probably gonna be real flashy if u wear em in the states.

Most men, and almost all women, can't tell the difference between a full Windsor and a half Windsor -- and that's right there at eye level. So you're really not going to run into women who know anything about shoes. All they can tell are superficial things, like you're wearing shiny leather shoes instead of sneakers, or your shoes are dirty. The emo-goth lezbian urban bus rider look might work on a certain type of slvt. Probably because they look like the sick and twisted versions of men's shoes that are being sold as women's shoes nowadays.

Generally, if you wear classically appropriate clothing, down to your shoes, you'll make a better impression on strangers than if you try to make some kind of fashion statement.

I hear from a stylist... The elegant individual is beginning to pay even closer attention to his shoes. Of all the accessories and items in a gentleman's wardrobe, nothing is more important than shoes for expressing one's character. Women will give you sexual looks all the time.

When's the last time you heard a group of single women discussing men's footwear? Never. If they ever do talk about men's shoes, it's only because they're passing through that section of the department store. As soon as they reach the purses, whatever they were talking about before -- flies right out of their little heads.

Only married women know anything about men's shoes. Single women never go shopping for anyone but themselves (and their kids). Men's clothing is a total mystery to them. Haven't you ever had a strange woman come up to you in a bar, just to feel your jacket? Women are accustomed to cheap polyester and cotton in their jackets -- wool throws them for a loop.

Men need far fewer pieces of apparel. We can concentrate on practical matters of fit, function, and quality. Women, on the other hand, buy things to wear once and then return. Their closets are stuffed with mismatched pieces that no longer fit. Women can't even find underwear that fits -- there are infomercials for bras and high-waisted stockings (body shapers).

Have you ever seen how many pairs of shoes a woman has strewn around her home? Dozens! They'll have ten pairs of the same black high-heeled style, and every one of them is broken or didn't even fit when she bought it. Women can't even buy shoes for themselves. What makes you think they have a clue about shoes for men?

Down Low, what do you consider to be the essentials of every man's wardrobe?

Women also look at the brand of shoes you are wearing.

Interesting... from the journal of anchor division

HANDMADE BROGUES - DOUBLE MONK STRAP
The guys over at Handmade Brogues send me some custom made Double Monk Straps to review. Upon receiving these, i noticed a few things that had caught my eye on a visual standpoint. These shoes were exceptional quality. The leather material used on the inside and outside of the shoe, the hardware and the welt and the leather heel. For the price standpoint, 179.00USD via paypal is perfect. You can fully customize and tailor exactly how you want your shoe, from the type of leather (or better yet, material, YES they have snakeskin). Extremely fast shipping coming from overseas and great customer service via email. You can't pass these footwear up. Purchase them here.
