What sports can you supplement as a cardio session?

I think so. Especially since most sports take the form of intervals, which are superior for fat loss and muscle retention.

squash is a really good cardio supplement , a player may expend approximately 700 to 1000 calories in one hour of gameplay which is significantly more than most other sports

Full-court basketball does it for me. I have a hard time keeping my weight when I play too much basketball.

I've been playing squash about 3 times a week for the last 3 weeks and it's amazing what it does for your body fat. I haven't been this toned in a long time. It's also excellent for defining those leg and butt muscles.

Cyclocross for winter. It's done with road bikes, converted to offroad, using knobby tires. It's brutal, much faster than ordinary mountian biking.

 +1

That sport is ridiculous! It's like a cross between road cycling, mountain biking, steeple case, and speed hiking rolled into one; oh yeah, during the winter at that... Stupid cardio!
