Hello most worthy followers of the DJ forum . .

. . .THis one perplexes me a little . . So here's this girl who I met briefly . . About 10 days later she sends me a private message on a forum and her phone number . . . . . .All good so far!:woo:

. . .We chat and arrange to meet . . .So it transpires she's breaking up with her boyfriend and all that . . .After spending a few hours with her, I feel she has not given me a red light, but neither a green . . .:yawn: .. . .But irrespective , I still had a nice time hanging out with her . . .

. . . . . .So after we part company, the penny really drops . . .She texts me the same evening asking if I would mind not texting her for a while as she needs some space and she would like to be alone . . .It seems she had bad experiences with men (or so she tells me) . . .

. . .. Right . .So here's the question . .

. . . .I told her it was fine, and to take it easy, and stay in touch . .

Did I do the right thing???I was a little pissed at such irrational behavior - to drag me out, spend time with me, and then ask me the same evening not to text her . . .:nervous: . . .Or should I have told her that I had a problem with that kind of bahavior and just tell her not to waste my time . . .Clearly, the girl has a bit of luggage up there, but the way I see it is that there is no point making her do something she's not comfortable with, or did I show weakness . . . .

Have I now lost the initiative??:box: . .I consider myself strong and savvy enough to deal with such things, but everygirl is a unique challenge!

Since she does, I see no problem with what you did. There would've been no point in calling her out because obviously shes having legit guy issues. All it would've done is futher complicate things for her.. yes you gotta be an alpha, but not always an *******.

Of course don't run to her like a puppy and be her beck and call.. go do your thing, meet new women, if she contacts you go from there.

. . .But how's this as an idea . . .She does text me occasionally to see how I am . . .Next time she does . .Without being aggressive and sparing the melodrama , I have the mind to say : - "What do you want from me??? " . .That way I can just say, I don't want or need her as a friend, and cut my losses, or should I just go along with her timebeing at least and let it all develop naturally????

now i'm not into the whole "wham-bam-thank you ma'am" mentality, but there are some cases where its better to cut your losses and move on

why are you analyzing this situation so much ? Don't text her like she asks, and pursue other girls until she gets her head out of her a$$. Then she will crawl on back if she wants to, and u can continue your game on her.

. . .To answer the above question, to me she's not a question of time . . But this is a situation where for me there is no cler cut answer, and its interesting now to navigate through these waters . . .As I mentioned . .Every girl is a unique set of problems and a unique set of solutions . . .

. . . This not of pivotal life importance . . . But at the same time, its always a shame to lose a girl you may like because you have jumped the gun . . .
