1. your too young to be bombing out on shyt. You need to get your ass back out there in school and get them grades up and get back on the field.
2. there is no pride in being an ex football player...it doesn't mean you were any good at it...you just made the cut off. I will not talk about my own shyt..but let me talk about two of my sons:
1. son went out in 10 grade and made varsity and was the lead running back for Elk Grove High School...(preppy white school full of cow boys). He ran track for them and all that and ran for public office.
2. older son went out and lasted 3 days and eventually dropped out of the same school...and took much much longer to learn his life lessons.
son #1 went on and got a scholar ship to Cal Baptist and ran track for them on the 4x4 relay team and almost qualified for the olympics...one of his buddies who got a scholar ship to a university down in da dirty south did qualify for the olympic tryouts.
son#1 is now a successful trainer and was a manager at a balleys fitness in Los Angeles, and since gave up this position to train again and go back to school for an even higher educational goal.
son#2 just put his life together in his middle 20's and is now a proud father...but regrets not having finished the foot ball and regular high school. he now works for the state.
Now which do life do you want kid.
Being drunk isn't cool....doing pot and other drugs isn't cool either...its a road that leads to nowhere.
son#3 of my 4 sons is studying law in Paris France. He took the load road for a bit also but pulled himself back up.
