Regardless of your opinion on language, people have free reign to use and evolve it as they wish. Many words now have new meanings, welcome to human language.

Sure but they cannot expect others to understand wtf they’re saying. If it ain’t in the OED, it’s categorically incorrect usage.

For anyone who loves language and the exactness of certain words, it can be frustrating that people accept ignorance by rewarding the misuse to become common usage.

Never mind that in a conversation the participants are talking about completely different things. This happens often when you date gorgeous but not-so-bright women.
