What if your right is bigger than your left?

I'm right handed, as are about 90% of you. This means that, for some reason, my right side does a little more work than my left side in workouts, and as you can imagine, its starting to become noticable (if you look really hard) that my right boob is bigger than my left boob. Funnily, my left abs are bigger than my right...

No jokes about boobs guys, are we men or children?

Anyway, I'm just wondering whether or not doing a left-side only workout a few times a week would be effective to compensate?

Rather then a "left sided workout", I'd simply throw in a few more one sided sets at the end. For instance, DB Rows, 1 arm DB curls and extensions, etc. For chest you could take like a 20 in the stronger side, to help with balance, and a 65 in the weaker. I've done these things and have had good results. Oh..and, I'm left handed, my left side is bigger, but my right side is stronger.

keep working out normally, but don't do more sets on your right side than you can on your left.

example: say you're doing alternating dumbbell curls with 20s on both arms, and your left bicep quits after 6 reps but your right bicep feels it could keep going -- be sure to stop at 6 reps for your right arm as well. in time, you'll find that both arms will be quitting at the same rep, and that's when your muscles will be even.

with benchpress, do it with dumbells, same weight. it will probably be easier to press the right dumbbell because your right pec is stronger. but press both, and quit altogether when your left refuses to push anymore.

Happened to me to. I just halfed my right exercies until my left caugt up then I alsways do five more on the left than on the right to keep them balanced. Its because your herts on one side. Your eyes ears and every piece of your body is slightly bigger or smaller on one side. Just because of how bodies are built. JUst work to even it out. but don't worry to much most people don't realy notice.

Switch to dumbell exercises for any muscle group that is uneven and work towards absolute perfect form. When your weak side fails on a set, stop with your strong side. Once your sides are balanced out you can return to barbells, but make sure you keep a nice even form.
