What if I begin to question or doubt the Don Juan method?

Ok...yes I've picked up chicks in a bookstore. Well maybe I told a "little lie" to get them hooked but it helped me open up the conversation and get their emails.

My line was "Hey a friend and I are writing a book on how to talk to women can I ask you a few questions"?

Three questions
What was the best pick up line you've ever heard?
What was the worst pick up line you've ever heard?
And what advice would you give to these guys?

Every woman answered my questions...and I asked ugly, fat, tall good looking whatever. It made it more believable that I was actually asking everyones opinion.

Then after they gave me some answers I would joke around with them and make fun of the guy who said the cheesy pick up lines. And they would ask what other women said, it was great. After I would say "Hey do you have an email, just in case I have any other questions"? And most of the time they would give it to me, I'd wait a couple days and send them an email saying. "Hey such and such thanks for helping me out the other day I got a lot of responses" Then if they responded back I would start working some email game until I got the phone number and set up a date with them.

Shyguy that's sort of not... what I want to do. If they are attracted to me, then I wouldn't have to use tricks. That's pretty low-down, man.

Playing devil's advocate here:

What percent of the male population actually resorts to using this website or other dating resource? I bet 90% of my friends have no clue about this website or any other resource on how to pick up girls, yet nearly 100% of the population marries, and the population is still on the rise.

And, how often do you see pick up artists talking to random women in a bookstore? Wouldn't doing this jeopardize your image and reputation in your local community eg. college?

Here is the deal. Sites like this and other explained to me exactly what I was doing when I did it right and exactly what I was doing when I did it wrong. There would be times in my life where I was unstoppable, and other times where I couldn't get a date to save my life. I never knew how it worked, I only new that when I was happy I got women and when I got frustrated I got none. And when I didn't give a **** anymore I got women. Now I understand how my mindset and the way I act in each mindset sends certain vibes to women and which types of women respond to each mindset. When I don't give a ****, i get a lower class, when I'm happy I tend to get women on my same level and when I'm frustrated...nothing but users and abusers.

Here's 2 perspectives on this: I met my current gf in a bookstore. Did she think I was weird? did she feel awkward? Nope! She thought I was a really funny, open guy who she would love to hang out with. I even told her the reason I was in her country at the time was to pick up girls! But I said it in such a way that it came out as a funny comment, and she took it as a joke. The AFC backstabber/fake friend who was there with me immediately tried to distance himself from my comment (I had told her that both me and him were just chasing girls around all day) in order to get on her "good side." He even wrote her an email soon after, warning her against my predatory ways and offering his friendship to her. She just though he was a weirdo...

When aggressive day game goes bad: my buddy was hitting on college girls really hard here at our school (we are both grad students). he is very good at pick up, probably better than me in many instances, but he can also come off as a little bit too aggressive sometimes. Long story short, one of the girls contacted campus security (even though she never asked him to leave her alone or anything like that) and now he s banned from campus. This is a bit of an extreme example, though, because it involves a closed private community full of spoiled bytches; the risk of this happening "in the real world" are minimal.
