I'm a huge james bond fan and I finally got around to going to see the movie Skyfall last night with the wife. I mean, the movie wasn't horrible, it was good.. but it's not a james bond film. they have gone so far away from the standard it's crazy.

where is the james bond girl? lol you're supposed to **** the bond girl.. at the end of every movie bond goes off and plows some bond girl ass. now james bond is a supplicating AFC who is at odds with his internal demonds and **** it's unbecoming. if i wanted to see that i would be at the movies watching james bond.

and there isn't supposed to be a backstory. the've made James Bond Jason Borne this isn't james bond


the last 2 bond movies have sucked. they are now bornue movies basically. they need to start just remaking old bond movies like Dr No, The living daylights, moonraker, etc.

I love Moonraker and Octopüssy. (Gotta love the ü to get around the filter.) Dr. No is sitting on my computer, waiting for me to finish watching it. And who could forget the James Bond marathons on TNT?

I’m a big fan of the Bourne series, but the Bond movies have been so horrible that when someone asked me to go with them to Skyfall, I declined.

The afc nature introduced with Craig is really annoying, I remember some line like "once you can try it you cant quit with it" comparing a drink to that girl from the first movie which was busting his balls.

It was from the first bond with Craig and the girl was that annoying cvnt which also did kingdom of heaven.

For real?! do you imagine any Bond with Connery or Moore buying the frame of a random b1tch or even complimenting on her to seek her approval....those were the same guys which were slapping girls when they were pissing them off and by pissing them off I mean not collaborating let alone nagging.

First they turned M into a woman....fine hollywood its ok...now they are turning 007 in some white knight..

Casino Royale is actually one of my favorite movies. I really enjoyed the dark, scarred, Bond and the focus on plot and characterization.

I just found Skyfall to be really bland. The writing was spotty, and Bond's lines just weren't very witty/bada$$/original. Sure, it was plot-driven, but even the plot wasn't particularly engaging/interesting.

So I'm part of the younger generation who's growing up in this Era of Betaism. Guess the sign is that, through my cultural lens, Bond doesn't even appear like an AFC, he still seemed decently cool.

I'm going to put Sean Connery at number 3 best Bond. With Roger Moore right under him at number four. The rest can be contested.

A lot of you are ignoring that this reboot trilogy is supposed to be the beginning of his 007 career, starting with the first novel (Casino Royale). Skyfall ends with him much more resembling the Bond of old.

I really don't like the craig bonds, Casino Royale and Qunatum of Solace for me were the worst 2. Haven't been tempted to watch Skyfall. (which is lucky because I don't have anyfriends to go to the cinema with anyway)
