What happened with women and manners?

Wow!!! I just got back from a date with this woman and I was left flabbergasted and disgusted!!! Now bare in mind I have NOT been dating a lot in the last year and a half or so.

This girl had the table manners of a pig!!!!!! Talked with her mouth open while eating ( shyt was falling out and on her and down her shirt), both arms rested on the table, talked and gestured with food in her hand, shoveled food down her mouth like it was never going to be more.

Not to mention, she was of Hispanic origin and we were at Mexican restaurant. I do not speak Spanish, but she was talking to the help in Spanish and was trying to sell some of her home made candles to people while we were trying to eat.

During the time she was not trying to peddle her wares, she was asking in a beat around the bush kind of way about seeing her again. She was complaining she could not find a good man (I know why now!!!) and I find out she has 3 kids and never been married at over 40. WOW!!!!!!!! I was wondering and did not ask how many different fathers are there, but I refrained out of politeness.

We get the bill and she takes all the food and piles it in a container as I could not stand the site of it after watching this disgusting thing. Then speaks to the server in Spanish and orders more crap. I find this out when he and it arrives. I was thinking how rude??? I would have liked that to... It was coffee, no biggie, but still.

I pay the bill and leave as quickly as possible. She does not even offer a thanks!

I know why now I always try for a simple coffee date on the first meet!!!

By the way, in NO WAY am I trying to stereotype Hispanic women. It just plays into my story as a matter of fact. I mostly find the women gorgeous, but I had a miserable time with this one!

I mean, 40 years old and 3 kids.....holy hell. I wouldn't even consider that if she WAS a hottie.

Her online pictures looked pretty good, but in person she was okay from a distance, but NOT HOT!!! There is a reason why I too... usually do not date women with kids as I do not have any. But when you get older most all of them have them. In the past, I have been with women with kids, but it was not a relationship sort of thing.

Not having kids IMO, makes me more valuable and it is very hard accepting women that have them. Damn near impossible because I just cannot relate with kids. Especially the newer generation of them.

HAHA. Thats funny. I went out a few times with this one mexican girl and she ate like a pig too. One time she was eating a burrito and I have never seen anything like it. She unwrapped it, took a gorilla sized bite, then would put it down the tall way, as opposed to on its side, so all the stuff was just sitting out there. No napkin to wipe off the $hit on her face, and then repeated. Luckily she was such a pig that the thing disappeared in about four bites. Meanwhile, I was about 25% done with mine when she finished, and I dont eat slow by any standard. I could not kiss her ever again...completely disgusted...haha.

Well... I could have, I guess... but it was almost like watching a train wreck... You know what I mean? It was interesting to me to see what would happen next. Cheap entertainment.

I could have walked away, but that could be considered theft of services. She was not going to pay. Her knowing Spanish could have communicated with staff that I agreed to pay and walked out without doing so. I mean really now. My life has been pretty jacked up with getting injured at work twice and undergoing neck surgery I have been away from the game and this was practice. Due to losing job from injuries and being out of work, my game is not tight these days.

However, I have been getting in shape and wanted to eat a good meal taking a break from exercise. Only why I agreed to eating first date.

Walking out without paying would have been low class in my opinion. Just not a classy thing to do.

Alcohol would not make me want this!!! But yes in general, you are correct. I was eating because I wanted to eat unhealthy for a day and it was a little ways from my home. Like I stated earlier, I usually go for cheap coffee date or something along those lines. I thought about that yahoo link today when I got home and saw it too!!! Too freaking funny!!!

I think I have that covered. I WANTED TO EAT. But yes as a general rule, You sir, are quite correct. Drinks as you suggest, would be just as expensive... SO I as a general rule would not to do that unless I were to have one or so and bail.

A few years ago I did the drinks thing. I got D RUNK, wound up at this cougar's place and did my thing, but ouch!! I am not much into drinking ETOH anyways.

Hey, actually that would NOT have been a bad idea. Would have actually been funny as hell to do it now you mentioned it. I was overloaded trying to wrap my mind around the disgusting thing and what I just witnessed.

I guess I was in the mind frame a guys pays for first date and did not give it another thought. I was not out a lot of cash and it was interesting to say the least.

Well thank you sir! Glad I could contribute to your amusement! The whole thing was entertaining to say they least. Watching the interaction with the Puerto Rican and the Mexican staff was HILARIOUS!!!

I certainly do not think all Hispanics lack class, but the one I met there did!

As others suggested, I could have split the tab, but at the end of the day, I took the higher road. I like remaining a classy sort of a mate.

Has been past experience too, the less I pay for the MORE I get, if you know what I mean. I am trying to reprogram my mind for the 2010 woman!

If the OP had just been talking about this specific woman, he wouldn't have lumped ALL women in together in the title. His desire was not to relate his one bad experience, but for this thread to turn into a bash-thread against women, hispanics, and mothers.
