I need big shoulders to compensate for my enormous head.

I read somewhere that growth hormones are being released in much greater numbers if you do a short cardio thing after your weights....Originally posted by jakethasnake
This is so retarded. Use your common sense, people!

Sorry to say this but those calories will probably make you fat... they will spike the insulin levels in your body. (I swear the carbs mainly come from maltodextrin)Originally posted by Downrock27
I'm about 6'2 165 lbs... just bought some weight gain beverage mix called Mammoth 2500, provides about 1250 calories per serving. Though most of it is carbs... 50 grams per serving is protein. With somethign like this i don't see how it can be so difficult for hardgainers to reach their caloric requirement for the day. Or do these things not work? This is my first time trying a supplement.

Steroids don't change your facial appearance. Growth hormone does.
I thought he might have meant it permanently changes your face but yeah it does cause some water retention. Your face will get bigger when you bulk up. Then you cut.Originally posted by majumbo
I think he meant to say that aromatizing steroids cause water retention that causes a bloated face. Easy way of dealing with this when using gear is to use antiestrogens such as nolvadex, arimidex.
Insulin is one of the key components to building muscle. As long as he takes his weight-gainer while he's in an anabolic state, he'll be fine.Originally posted by Lifeforce

Ive only been working out once a week due to work schedule, but I keep the same diet, and Ive noticed that Ive gotten stronger as apposed (sp) to working out 3 times a week...Strange...Originally posted by Bonhomme
There was an interesting article in Muscle and Fitness about some Canadian bodybuilder who was stuck in a rut until he switched to a regimen that consists of about 8 exercises with 1 rep at about 70% of max weight, followed by the same exercises, 1 rep at max weight. He can curl almost 300 lb.
I forgot to mention this Canadian fellow does the above full-body weight workout once every 2 weeks.
