I am about 6`2 and 210 pounds. I look fine with my clothes on, but without them there is some extra flab just laying around. I am trying to get started on a program that will help me gain a lot of muscle. I would rather get big and then cut, rather than cut down to just being a skinny tall kid. I don't have the money to goto a gym right now, however I have a weider system with bench, lat pulldown, etc etc, dumbbells, and soon will have a bench with a bar. Any of you have any suggestions for me?

This is the reason someone needs to make a thread for total newbie weight lifters.

I had the same problem you had, but what i did is sign up at the gym:( but since you cant do that i suggest that you work out with whatever weights you have, because working out also burns calories. Also, count your calorie intake everyday and see how much vitamins you should be taking depending on your weight, I'd give you the formula but i can remember it at this moment:confused: , anyways, sprint if you can everyday in the morning before you eat anything, thatll trigger your body to dip into its fat reserves and use it as energy

I thought that's what the GUIDES are for. There really should be no difference in how newbies and experienced guys lift. The only difference I figure will be the poundages.

Ok, but my problem is I am not sure which I want to do. I am worried that if I bulk up right now, i'll get too "fat" at the same time..

Oh and another thing, I wanted to ask you guys if you recommended that I take Creatine muscle cell volumizers from Ergogen Labs. There are 6 grams of creatine per pill. Thanks

I'd be skeptical of creatine in pill form. I have never gotten any type of results from creatine. Personally, I think it is mostly hype and placebo effect. Just eat right and lift as heavy as you can go. Then keep at it 3-4 times a week for the next 3 years. You'll get there. Sounds like you need to cut before you bulk but your first cycle it doesn't much matter how you start. You are going to gain mass and lose body fat at the same time either way. It takes a couple months to hit the wall.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

then don't bulk. You can't put on muscle mass with out putting on a little fat at the same time. Hey here's an idea. You CUT UP after you're done bulking.
