Never heard about until recently... watched some videos and that tyler guy seems ok and legit. I enjoyed what he had to say, pretty interesting and comprehensive.

I like how he'll tell you there really is no holy grail other than hard work and just force yourself to talk to like 1000 girls.

I read the RSD Forum when this one is down, or not very active. I've seen some of thier material. I think you can learn a lot from them, but I have some reservations, which I'll list below.

Basically, I think it's pretty good stuff, although it's a little too oriented toward the club for my taste. And thus more youth oriented. As a 51 year old guy who lives with his girlfriend, I'm not going to be making it a priority to go hit the clubs to improve my "game".

Tyler's a bright guy, and he's good at teaching inner game and such. He has said that identifying yourself as a pickup artist is about as pathetic a thing that you can do. But the thing is, if Tyler isn't a pickup artist, I don't know who is. He seems to be obsessed with perfecting becoming a PUA. I know that's his job as a guru, but for a normal person that would be taking it too seriously and investing too much into it. Is it really that important in life to put up Wilt Chamberlain type numbers as far as scoring with random girls?

At one point, he supposedly formed a relationship with a girl, and had a couple of kids with her. I've heard he since broke up with her, but I don't know for sure. Supposedly during the time he was with her, he was still going out and getting laid, which is something I don't respect. I know he's a guru, and had to still go out and show his students how to get numbers and makeouts and whatever, but to screw around on his girlfriend, that made me lose some respect for him.

He's 32, so I don't know, he seems to be promoting this lifestyle where you're forever going out to the club. That's his choice certainly, but wow you would think at some point that would get old and you would grow out of it. Going out to the club every week, once you get to a certain age, just sounds like a huge, pathetic waste of time to me. There's got to be better, more productive things you can do with your life.

But to learn seduction material, his stuff is definitely worth a look IMO. I'd actually say RSD is probably at the forefront of PUA theory.

I agree that RSD has both positive and negative things going on for them.
First, the positives. RSD has great ideas about frame control, giving value, or positivity to a group of people when talking to the, and the idea that you shouldn't care what any other person thinks of you. Solid stuff.
Now, the bad. There are way too many people on that site that go out 4-7 days a week and barely ever get laid. And what do they hear? Oh, just push through the pain period and keep challenging yourself. If it was that easy, wouldn't they be getting laid more by now? Who really wants to invest a lot of your money into something if you're not getting laid from it?
I mentioned going out 4-7 days a week and I don't like the idea of a man having to put that much time into getting laid. I just personally don't believe a person should put that much time into trying to get laid. And if you fail at getting laid doing that much time, then well, you may feel like saying f**K pick-up or RSD. There's too muchn theory talk on that site as well, and the instructors are viewed s demigods.

So there, I don't hate RSD at all, but there's no universal solution to finding success with women in their stuff. There are good ideas to supplement your life, yes, but that may not help you get laid.

Tyler is the man. The material he teaches is practically 100% free now. Most of his revenues come from pushing people into sets and personal coaching.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I personally think they are great at creating mini-douch bags that never want to grow up. They also do a piss poor job of explaining vague concepts that are better explained elsewhere.
