What do you do for a living?

Electrical engineer. Great money, but you couldn't ask for a more pathetic social environment. You know how people on here say don't date at work? I've never been in a position to even think about it (maybe one or two somewhat attractive women, but none I'd get involved with). The guys aren't exactly wingman material either.
