I had it in my workout for a few weeks, but it was killin' my wrists. I also wasn't gettin' comfortable with it.

Re:

I agree, I'm prob. executing it wrong, but it all barbell exercises hurt my wrists. I use alot of dumbbells when I can, and venture onto the barbells for other major compounds.

Perhaps Warboss or Semag or Manuva can address the correct position.

I think it's good... when I did it once or twice, I can't imagine getting the bar off the pins and into position without a spotter.

I don't think i have a video or anything of that with correct form, but it's an exercise I see some damn strong guys do... so can't knock it ;)

Its a tricep exercise.

I did it on my bicep/tricep day, and yeah, I know I should do chest and tris together.

it is one of the best things for your triceps i hear, i never do it though, if you can replace it with something easier on your joints, i bet your body owuld appreciate it more though :p

I think its a pretty good exercise, I favor the JM press a bit more though.

I tried this for the first time last week. It's rough getting off the rack without a spotter, but it wiped out my triceps pretty quickly... more so than say close grip bp. Going to try it on the smythe machine next time.

I liked them. I go to a little gym at my work and all the guys come in and do the same boring things. I like being the guy who keeps doing different things instead of just cable pulldowns for triceps and flat bench for chest like i see everyone else do repeatedly and never anything else despite their weights staying the exact same.

Yeah, whenever I did them someone would always ask what it was, and what muscles it trained. I also got some crazy looks.
