^^ Book of Pook is a good STORY, but it lacks actual support and evidence. It's a fun read and makes sense as you read it, but with most books, take it with a grain of salt.

Franco - Seduction Manual

^ Franco is a psychologist who is also a PUA. So the first 100 pages or so of his book - cover exactly what triggers women emotionally, why it triggers them, and how to trigger them. I really had an eye-opening experience reading his work; it improved my abilities with women and understanding what they wanted tenfold!

Daniel Rose - The Sex God Method

^ For people looking to have long term partners. Teaches you how to lock down a woman through amazing sex (you can almost not care about passing sh!t test, etc. as you really get inside a woman's head doing this stuff). Teaches you the 4 elements of being a good alpha male in bed, which is : domination, emotion, emmersion, and creativity.

Bump......I'm looking for one or two books to read, don't want to be an encyclopedia, but everything seems like it just reiterates the same garbage over and over.

!!!!!How to become an alpha male - John Alexander!!!!!

the only one you'll need. It is different from anything I've read, and it's the perfect size. 200-300 pages or so as I remember. I went through it in under a week.

Some other reviews...

-Jay Abraham (this is marketing/sales). His stuff is killer....but you have to read/listen to it a lot, takes repetition.

He's said...(paraphrasing) "its taken me 25 years working X hours a day to learn what I know...to think you can learn it in one reading is delusional".

Mastermind Marketing
eX! Factor

And some other seminars that are more advanced. "How to get from where you are to where you want to be" is excellent. A 6 week coaching course. He walks you through the first steps in forming a business strategy. Then through his methodology. Then at the end, he finalizes your optimal strategy. I've never heard anything like it in business or in marketing. It's so clear and powerful. Probably his best course.

-Tony Robbins, NLP, etc I've gotten away from. I was on a Tony Robbins kick for awhile a few years ago...did personal power, UPW (his seminar). Too hyped up, too "must" oriented. I dont work like that. Maybe for some people it works. But havent seen anything new or exciting in personal development/nlp.

-If you want to be really smart and well read, theres a reading list in the back of Charlie Mungers book, Poor Charlies Alamanck. Munger is Warren Buffetts partner and a billionaire.

It includes Cialdini's Influence, a bunch of books...books about Darwin, some big biographies of Rockefeller, Ben Franklin.

Guns, Germs and Steel. Pretty much a must read. Top 15 or 20 worldly books.

How the Scots invented the modern world. A lot of worldly books you might not see otherwise. I've read maybe 8 from his list. But a good worldly education. Impress your friends, haha.

-Investing/economy/finance. Mostly Jim Rogers.

He predicted alot of his current mess. Some finance guys either get too technical, too crazy/religious (like gold bugs), or have too much self interest to be objective (peter schiff, who I think is generally right, but too much self interest/promotion). Then there are others who have mised the boat entirely (they're too US centric). Barton Biggs, John Bogle. They tell you to buy mutual funds, low cost! But that doesnt do you much good in a bear market, or flat market.

The investing world gets interesting as you get older, have more money, and understand the market better. There are always opportunities. So always keep learning.

And Snowball, the hot Warren Buffett book. Bought it, havent read all of it (900 pages!!). But any 5 star Buffett book is a must read. You'd be crazy to pass it up.

Havent seen much else lately.

Sorry to unearth an ancient thread, but I just busted out laughing at how Poonani Maker's first suggestion on a book to pick up women was how to make 100 million dollars. lmao.

I'll keep saying it: "How to become an alpha male by John Alexander" is the best one I've read on the subject. What makes it different is that it focusses on inner game entirely, which is the most important thing in dealing with women.

Really, check this one out!

I think that Secrets of the Alpha Male by Carlos Xuma is a much better insight into the idea of becoming an Alpha Male. Not to mention his audio CDs that go along with it.

Xuma has many books, CDs, and DVDs that are all very amazing and helpful. The guy is great. He makes you feel like he's your best friend the entire time.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
