What are your SARGING shoes?

Title says it all. A night out on the town, what are your preferred kicks? My casual shoes have become my gym shoes so I need some new shoes for nights out, etc... I'm too busy to keep up on what's fashionable nowadays (a little embarrassing, yes I know). Are Superstar II's and Air Force 1's still in? Lend a brother a hand...?

Converse and Vans go with everything, you can't go wrong wit em. Plus I always get compliments on them.

I was digging your post, but then you say: I'm too busy to keep up on what's fashionable nowadays (a little embarrassing, yes I know). This isn't embarrassing at all. Just wear what you like, it will turn cool. If you like it so will other people. That's fashion.

I like to wear all star, for example, so when people see me with them they think it's cool. If I wore them but didn't like them, just for the attention or something, then people would think I'm a fake and would be like, check out this looser.

No such thing as "sarging shoes" for me; I wear what fits with my overall style and what feel comfortable in the environment i am in.

Ill wear wear one pair to a club, another in a bar and another in a lounge-ier placer.

Wear what feels good and what makes you feel good.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm not really sure Vans are my style. I'm more of a jock/athlete/conservative republican and I'm not sure those fit my profile...

I think I need to just head to the mall this weekend and check out some nice dress shoes, or maybe some solid white casual shoes of some sort.

P.S. - No way in heck am I wearing cowboy boots anywhere haha.

Hey guy, a man needs four pairs of shoes and that's it.

Diesel sneakers for casuals $100 at most
Gym sneakers for working out $50 at most
Black leather oxfords for work or going out up to $500 or higher
Black very shiny dress shoes for suits, up to $400 or higher
A pair of sandals for summer time and shorts (I don't consider those shoes). $30 at most



Black dress shoes (not too shiny ones for suits) is what you need. I'm not sure what brand but for white casuals I wear Diesel that you can find at Buckle. Very nice and comfortable.

There are only two things you should pay top dollar for dress or work SHOES and WATCHES.

Chicks look at the shoes and the watch after your eyes. Remember that.

Bingo, that's why everybody should at least put some thought into what shoes they're buying. I hear what you guys are saying about black dress shoes. I love them, and wear a pair to work everyday, but they're not as comfortable as some casual sneakers. I think I just need to go grab a decent pair of Adidas, Nikes, Vans (I checked a couple out today... not bad afterall - different from what was posted though), or Diesels. While I'm at it I'll grab a new pair of black dress shoes too.

Good choice. Dress shoes suck, cause they are very uncomfortable, but you will love diesels. Shoes are very important. They say everything about style, money, and everything else. Chicks love shoes. I can tell a lot by what shoes a man is wearing too. If you have a three thousand dollar suit on, but wear hundred dollar shoes, it ruins the suit. Check out diesels for casual, get white color so you can wear it with anything, but with dress shoes, don't be cheap, they are very important for work and going out.

Like I said...the vans come in a ton of different styles, those were just the first i saw on google. I have had girl after girl compliment my vans as well as randomly point them out in stores. Don't care what anyone else says, I know from experience you cant go wrong with some laced up vans dressed up or down. I personally find the slip on to be less stylish but that's a matter of taste.
Personally I would never purchase diesel shoes...the only people I see wearing them come off as tools.
Also on the converse...you say your a jock/athletic type. How would converse not fit that style. They make all different types( Dwayne wades signature shoe is made by converse for gods sake.) I know when most people think of converse, Allstars come to mind. I will admit I hated on Allstars for years and years. I thought they looked like clown shoes. Now that I'm older I think a fresh pair of grey Allstars can really make an outfit. Theyre not for everyone, but I suggest you atleast check em out!
