I'm assuming you are also including leads.

Black Sabbath - Snowblind
Black Sabbath - Supernaut
The Crown - Blitzkrieg Witchcraft
Enslaved - Inngang-Flukt (Entrance-Escape)
The Haunted - 99
Megadeth - High Speed Dirt
Megadeth - Ashes in Your Mouth
Megadeth - Poison was the Cure
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls
Metallica - Battery
Metallica - Fight Fire with Fire
Opeth - When
Opeth - Blackwater Park
Rush - Red Barchetta
Rush - The Analog Kid
Testament - Electric Crown
Testament - Return to Serenity
(I'm sure I forgot some ... edits to follow)

And the winner is...
Rush - Here Again (an epic two minute bluesy lead - you owe yourself a listen if you consider yourself a fan of rock music)

A-fvcking-men! Lifeson fvcking kills it! That's a pretty deep cut and not something a casual RUSH fan would even spend time with.

Good job!

Yeah, I was actually surprised that you chose Subdivisions as your favorite solo from Rush, because I consider it a rather weak song.

Good picks on your Sabbath choices, I was considering "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" but Supernaut got the best of me with some of the most solid metal drumming ever. I obviously had a hard time limiting my thrash selections.

BOOO, I can't stand Rush, I hate them with a passion. Looks like we've got some opposite tastes Karm.

Dude, you rock. You actually know who the **** Yngwie Malmsteen and Nuno Bettancourt are... among others listed there

Damn, this thread has some really good music listed!

Personally, I like the solo in "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult. This is actually my favorite song(I've got the fever and theres' only one thing that can cure it).

In no particular order

Led Zeppelin - Stairway
Van Halen - Eruption
Clapton - Key to the Highway (from Layla)
Clapton - Crossroads (Cream)
Beatles - While my guitar Gently Weeps (performed by E.C.)
Van Halen - Right Now
SRV - Mary had a little lamb
Clapton / B.B. King - 3 O'Clock Blues (Riding with the King)

Ok, so I have a bias, but at least it's a good one.

Also it's an instrumental but a good one, Mason Williams - Classical Gas
