I personaly will go to church , then just continue my normal life , I bought some clothes , but beside that nothing special , I may take my parents to Chinese buffet .
I dont have any special woman to worry about her gift or to spend all my hard earning on useless stuff .

what about you?

Just to be contrary, I'm not even spending it with family. They're good, decent people, and I like them...but I don't enjoy spending more than an hour in their company. Doesn't help that my hometown in the sticks is a soul-sucking hell-hole with nothing to offer a dedicated urbanite like myself. So I've stopped participating (in person at least) in the once a year charade of pretending we're a regular and important part of each other's lives. No animosity, I just got tired of faking enthusiasm for it.

I will be arguing on "Christmas sucks" thread so I can make other people who are divorced feel bad. What else?

Yeah, probably look at some porn because I keep getting girls in my life named after Christmas, like Natalie, Natasha, etc... and they keep disappointing me. These names all mean "Christmas-born". The last "natasha" happened to be divorced and I broke up with her after I proposed to her since I was worried I'd be committing adultery with her if I married her.

So guess what, I'll commit adultery by looking at porn instead because I think the break-up was just stupid...and I dumped her and went NC. Argh. I promised this girl to give up porn as long as we were dating and marrying so I wouldn't be committing adultery and gave it up almost completely while I was seeing her. But didn't think I'd be committing adultery by marrying her too.

I only date girls with the name "Christmas-born" and it always ends badly when I date someone with this name. It is my fate in life.

Flew out to see family for a week, so spending time with them and catching up on some to-do chores, also in hardcore planning mode for next year - I like to plan out my days/weeks/months in as much detail as possible so I can accomplish what I want (even though I always run out of time). Went shopping. Girl #51 keeps telling me I should buy her a present. We've hung out 1x/week for the past 3 weeks or so. I told her she should get me something too, she said 'I will, and I give amazing bl0wjobs'. So it looks like my present for her will be a thong and some fishnets.

Resting up as much as possible in preparation for the new year. Glad I'm not seeing anyone with any level of seriousness as I don't have to worry about presents of any sort, except the aforementioned one but it's a small expense with a good return heh (and she is amazing at bl0wjobs for a 22 year old; I'm half afraid to ask how much she's practiced).

To Brad: I used to tell these girls I don't celebrate these holidays. I'd let them blow up my phone all day and I will sit back and not even text them back or pick up their calls. I lost some girls doing this but I honestly didn't care.

To Wilko: I feel you. I don't like to spend more then 30 minutes with my family!

For Christmas I'm just chilling with the girlfriend. Probably watch a movie and just chill. I'm not in a Christmassy mood anyway because I don't have my own spot or job as of now. Those are the only two concerns in my life to be honest.

I'm going on a date with a returning fox from over two years ago. Also, my old fvck buddy suddenly became single, so I may try setting something up with her this eve if possible. I've also got two other women on the line - one I met on Sunday and one who practically forced her number into my hands, but she's a skank and I'm only going to use her for social proof.

I bought myself three Paul Westerberg albums for Christmas and I finally got to crack them open this morning, so I'll be enjoying the 5hit out of those.

I am seeing several girls at the same time right now, but I have decided to buy them all nothing. Not because I am a cheap guy (I can spend lots of money lavishing a girl if I feel like) but because I just feel like they don't deserve anything nice. I have made up the excuse that I had to go to New York last minute for an emergency business trip (total lie) in order to avoid the problem of how to divide up my Christmas and New Years and which girl to spend each with. I am considering applying the same trick for Valentines Day, but two holidays in a row may be very suspicious.
LOL nice! I don't mind getting women something small for Christmas, but I fvcking hate Valentine's day. I'll probably use that trick myself.

Sounds like a Christmas made in heaven.

That's what I did yesterday. We had fun getting ready for Santa. It's all so bizarre to me since I didn't have any of this stuff when I was a kid.

Making the best of it.

I'm not a big fan of Christmas because of what it has become (it certainly is no longer about the birth of Christ), but I'm going to go out there and try to be a blessing to somebody today.

Relaxing before work tommorrow. Go for a jog. Eat dinner with mom. Call the gf, relationship too new to do Christmas thank god. Call people who are worth it. Play some black ops. Throw a controller.

Ah... you're in the "sweet spot" of the relationship Christmas-wise. No pressure. You'd best pay attention to her hints next year tho! ;)

Your lives sound kind of sad to be honest...get some good friends and reconnect with your families at least.

Anyway, personally I just left my apartment and am spending time with my mom, dad, and brother. We exchanged gifts and are now drinking eggnog and dancing around to the country cds I got my dad. I am going to pick up a couple friends of mine who live in Philadelphia but are from halfway across the country and don't have family here to celebrate with. Us three are going to the nursing home I used to work at to visit with some of my old patients. They all have Alzheimer's and some don't have families so we go play cards or checkers, sing along to Christmas music, and make Christmas cards for each other.

Unfortunately I only had my daughter Christmas Eve while her mother has her on Christmas. No biggie although my old patients love her.

What a ****ty time to take an opportunity to take a dump on how others spend their holidays. I find nothing particularly interesting nor.enjoyable about what you posted either and normally wouldn't be bothered to make such an observation but for you I did.

Wasn't meant as a dump. Just an observation. Constructive criticism if you will. Christmas is, if nothing else, a time to reconnect with family. Or continue your already strong connection.

Edit: I read your particular post, you're hanging with your mom. That's cool. I personally think that one of the keys to guys improving themselves is getting out there and living life to the fullest. That includes (but is not limited to) getting closer with your family and friends.

I suppose it's good then that I don't really live my life to entertain you. Just to entertain myself and those closest to me. Which, at least today, I did.

guys , take it easy , we are here just to be ourselves , if we want to pretend we are going to have a so much fun , then there is a lot of places to do that .
the good thing no body is under debt , some people end the Christmas with a big debt . as one of the financial advisers said , the big Christmas gift is to get rid from all your debts

Spread some good cheer with my family. Booked myself on a guitar TV show (host is a friend of the family). We played some sizzling hot licks together, ending of course with "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer".

Called a very elderly client (in her 90s) to wish her a Merry Christmas (and you guys thought I was all about 33 year olds...). Talked to Mom down in the southland. Altogether a fine day. It's about waking up with the intent to do so. I demanded a fine Christmas of myself, because I was in a bad mood the night before. I want to apply that demand to every day of my life. I'm waking up more and more to the fact that I can insist on making a positive experience out of a negative one if I decide to with absolute intent. It's not going to work every single day, but I think it's a good way to extract many more positive experiences and days out of life.
