I would like to explore this topic a little deeper. We know girls are attracted to badboys. Is it only a phase they go through? What qualities do badboys have that girls find irresistable? And how do badboys act (personality)? Are they smooth talkers? Do they have game? Or is it their aura of badness is all they need? Do you have to be involve in illegal activities to be consider a badboy? What is the difference between a badboy and a jerk?

Seriously how many times does this topic come up? Most badboys I know are WACK! I watch them and I just shake my head. Why? Because if you talk to a badboy/thugs girlfriend he'll go off on you. He may even try to kick
your ass. Is that attractive? Well answer this: is insecurity attractive because thats what it is. Low self esteem issues. Now there are some things that are attractive and alluring like the challenge of being with someone you cant control gives you somewhat of an adrenaline rush but after awhile of riding the same rollercoaster it becomes quite redundant. Why would you continually
date someone who has no control over his emotions. The ability to master your emotions is an important skill which most of your badboys lack. I dated a girl who had previously dated nothing but badboys and thugs and what did she tell her bestfriend: "Ive never dated anyone like him, he seems so confident and in control of himself and in the beginning I didnt think I would be attractive to him but I just cant explain it" Her friend fowarded that email to me. I'm not trying to pat myself on the back, Im just trying to let you know that if you have inner game and control of yourself you weed out the competition.

In my experience being a "bad boy" is more of a personality trait. Those fake piercings and rub on tattoe won't work. Its also pretty lame.

i think you're mistaking badboys for jerks... lots of badboys i know do quite well in school, are extremely intelligent, witty, some are strong/silent, some are clownish and extroverts... i think girls like them because they don't look geeky as the most part of guys in high school

The secret is they don't really care about the outcome. If a b*tch pisses them off, they will not hesitate to next her and just move on to the next one. They look out for themselves before anyone else. Confidence, a sense of style, and not giving a f--k are key. Also talk in a slow and deep voice if possible. Think of greasers/rebels like James Dean, The Fonz, 1950's Elvis & Brando, etc. They're some people I look to for inspiration.

Basically the opposite of the average joe.
Women do go through phases yes. Up until they are about 30 I'd say, they are attracted to men just like we describe all the time on this message board. Most of them have short-lived, unstable relationships with these loser "badboys," but then they start to get at least a little smarter and decide they all want long-term relationships with regular guys who treat them better. The excitement is not like it used to be, but they trade it off for stability and security. What YOU can do is to try to have some attractive badboy qualities like the unshakeable confidence, being uncontrollable (and dominant), being unpredictable, being able to build anticipation and keeping the relationships suspensful and slightly on the edge, and of course being exciting.

Jerk is basically just a badboy no other men like. Therefore he doesn't have the status a true badboy has, BUT he still does well with most women, and does better than pure "niceguys."
