I've started reading Poor Dad, Rich Dad

and I haven't been this interested since I read Pook's Book

I'm still in high school

and have $300 spare money from working

Any viable assets I should invest in?

I have a family friend who owns a resort

just to throw that out there

invest in a college fund

Good idea. Buy some more books and read them. You can't really do much with 300 USD, it starts getting interesting when you have about 1000 USD to play with.

By reading and educating yourself, you will make the investment that yields the highest interest of all.

At 17, education is your investment. Have you taken the SATs yet? You could spend the money on a review course or extra study books, provided you will actually use them. I had a crappy high school gpa, but studied hard for the ACTs and got a top score that helped win me a full ride scholarship to a school in Florida. At your age, you should do what it takes to get good grades and test scores, doing so will open doors for you. That doesn't mean you have to go through every door that education does open for you, but it is nice to have options.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Ignore this. A third of the Forbes 400 are without a college degree. 4 of the top 5 wealthiest Americans don't have a degree. Every fat chub with flip-flops is in a Starbucks in America right now studying. Education is a big scam. At best you will end up like one of the guys on the Mature Forum. 30 and wondering if you are too old to date the girls that you are attracted to

And yes, the American dollar is trouble. Jim Rogers has left the building...In this case America. You will see this happening more and more. More and more of us are finding our lives to be more complete in other parts of the globe.

I bet it's a scam because you don't have any, right? My law degree gets me laid like a rock star. Every woman wants a lawyer as her man. I am loving this scam.

go buy your dad something for the 300 bucks and tell him its a gift for being such a great dad and putting a roof over your head etc.

if you do that you could get caught f*cking a midget in mexicon with a bag of cocain in your trunk and your dad would have your back.

The 'education is a scam' argument reeks of ignorance, fittingly enough.

Understanding HOW to trade/make investments is useful. You wouldn't drive without knowing how to, so why jump into the stock market without knowing what you're looking for??

Spend time reading up about how investors like Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch etc, go about their business, and learn the terms and processess (sp) associated with the stock market.

Personaly, I subscribe to Buffets Methodology.

And now, some real advice ;). With the emergance of countries such as China and India, raw materials are making a killing. Mittal and Bp and Shell have recorded record profits, and are set to rise further. Finding an undervalued mining company, would be gold right now.

Yeah, it always seemed to me like investing in condom companies was the way to go. We know for a fact that society is only going to become more and more horish.

with only 300 you could do pretty good for yourself

i used to make 400$ a day on craigslist and I wasn't working too hard

I offered services as a mover and sold china brand merchandise

with 300 you will not turn a "useful" profit on the average investments

I would honestly recomend buying a piece of specialty equipment and offering your services in some way on the weekend

although college education is a usefull tool it is not some magic pill...i meet students with much much more eductaion than me and they have so very little hope of making serious money compared to someone like me who just buys reads books and can hustle like a mofo

if you just read 1 business book a month and activily pursue creating a business you will find success
