What are my hobbies, interests, and talents?

When I'm asked these questions I really don't know what to say.

I go to college at the largest school in the US. When I'm not in class I sit around the apartment all day with my roommates. When I get bored I get on the computer, play video games, play guitar, and smoke pot. On the weekends we drink alot and go to parties or have a party in our apartment.

Go with the guitar, for one. The trouble with interests is that they never seem like big deals to you, when in fact they're different from what other people do and that's what makes it interesting. Whenever I hit this question the first thought that popped in my head was, "I have no life, so I don't think I have any." Then I realized that occasionally I play poker, I've gone to casinos a number of times, and I have a couple of stamps in my passport (now that "couple" is up to a "lot"--I had to get new pages added after filling the passport up). So my interests are travel and gambling.

An interest doesn't need to be something you do three times a week for two hours each time, on a regular basis. The next time you're about to go out with your friends somewhere, think about where you're going. Is it a concert? Sports game? Movie? Write it down. Keep writing down for about two weeks, then look at the similarities.

(I've never done that myself, but that's the thought process I had when I realized what my hobbies were.)

Final thought: Interests don't need to be glamorous or expensive. You play the guitar and that's something I don't do, so if I ever meet you I'll ask you about your guitar.

I've always felt that trying to impress girls with guitars is really cheesy. So I really don't talk about it. But when I bring a girl to my room she'll see my equipment and usually comment about it. I normally play it down and say that I just think that stuff looks cool (in a humble but somewhat ****y way)

ata boy.... the bedroom is indeed the appropriate place to show a girl your "equipment". glad to see she's commenting about it too... hahaha.

... Well for starters lieing isn't a good thing. So go find something you like dude, i love music, so i pulled out my bros decks, and im getting into mixing, because of my love for music. I also wanted to be able to protect myself, so im going to take up brazilian ju jitsu, add university and going out to that, and my time is pretty full. For starters stop ****ing smoking pot, it slows your thinking down

IF you are worried about NOW, then keep it intersting and fauge, say you pimp women, or that you strip at a gay nightclub.. SO MANY THINGS, say you look after old people, say you clean dogs for a living, SO MANY THINGS to say man, just think of something out there and interesting, until then get some ****ing hobbies which doesn't involve getting stoned...
