I know that Robert Kiyosaki is popular but don't know if it's any good. Are there other books out there that are good for this?

I'll sell you my intro to finance book for its fair market value. Probably $75.

His stuff is more motivational - there are some "factual" issues. I would suggest "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. It does not tell how to make money specifically, but I found his material very enriching and motivational. It gives you a good mindset.

In terms of making money, how do you want to make money in particular? What specific or specialized skill sets do you have or do you want to hone? What type of business are you interested in? Do you want to sell goods or services? Do you have some capital to work with already?

There are some great businessmen in this forum I am sure if you narrow down your interests they will give you good advice.

Do you have any clue of what area you will focus on? Everybody wants money, and NOW! But you have to have a skill, an ability or knowledge or some sort as a starting ground.
