weird girl: shut up

In my English class, this girl asked to look at my assignment, she was "ugly" and I didn't bother to do something other than to give her my assignment. We've never talked to each other before and something strange happend:

In the middle of the class, I was talking about how I didn't like something (school related) and that girls suddenly said in front of my face: "shut up stupid" something like that (serious manner). And I was shocked, I have never been accused like this and she is a total stranger to me. I mean, I was cool with most people and nobody said such disrepectful words to me.

So weird..... After she said that, I just simply ignored her. I mean why would she say such things?

Shes soo ugly... and I am just shocked when someone I don't know very well say such things to me

Was this a one-on-one situation or did she do it when you were talking to the whole class? Either way, never put up with that kind of disrespect. Guy or girl, immediately shut that person down and publicly make them look like a fool. Call them out on it. The quickest way to make someone uncomfortable is to get loud and make other people notice that persons mistake

She likes you. There's nothing you can do. If you ignore her, she'll like you more, if you pay attention to her, she'll like you more. If you insult her in front of everyone, she'll like you more. The best you can do is to not mind her.

And if she really is ugly, why would you care about she does to you?

You are asking a question ABOUT YOURSELF from other people that have never met you.

This is like a math professor asking a 1st grader for math help. Other people on this site dont know anything about you! What is your vibe, your aura. What was specific context of circumstances, etc..

My opinion is that a girl would not say this in a serious tone for no reason. Looking at your writing tone as well as your usename: you give off some creepy vibes. If that's the case - stop being creepy.

I've actually found that ugly (and fat) girls tend to have the lowest self-esteem, but a small minority are the *****est women you'll ever run across (I dated one junior year). She probably just hates everything right now...you count as everything, so you were just in her way. Don't take it personally.

The problem is: if I confront her in front of the whole class, I won't look good either. Yea, she's sorta wierd; I heard that the girl hates dog so much that she would rather die than to get close to a dog. If I am sending out this creepy vibe like what DJdaddy is saying, why is she the only one to disrespect me?

At the moment, I don't know what to do if she say such things again.
