Weird Compliments from Girls

I know this may be bit of a stupid question, but is it a good sign if a girl complimients what you are wearing? The more I think about it the more it seems that she is only complimenting my clothes because there is nothing else about me worth complimenting if you know what I mean. I know this my seem like a stupid AFCish question, but as I found out recently Im still firmly in that zone. Thanks guys.

That's the strangest logic I've ever heard, I recently complimented a HB9 on her eyes, so was I really implying she has a saggy a$$ and no t!ts? Hell no!!

Dude, sounds like you're overanalyzing. Compliments in general are a good thing. She's not repulsed by you, congrats!

Oh really ? How is it different. She's being honest. Is that bad ? Do all girls that think you dress well want to get in your pants ? No. Does dressing well automatically make you attractive ? No. Is the poster above me likely a retard ? most likely.

I just wanted to know if a girl saying "I really like that top your wearing - can I have it?" was a sign of interest or not.

The girl who tells you straight up she likes your clothes. (Kind of sounds like she feels she needs to compliment you.)

The girl who tells you your shirt looks stupid with a smile.

This depends on his age if he's young then yes the second one will make more sense as they will be playing games.

Maybe she's pretty superficial and all she cares about people is what they wear and how they look...

But again, if you are asking yourself this kind of questions, maybe it's true... You don't have anything special compared to other people... yet... I repeat, it's just a possibility...

If this is the case, try ask yourself what to do to become a more interesting person.
