Weeds and Women Over 40

Has anyone here ever watched Weeds? The reason I bring it up is because I noticed Mary Louise Parker, who stars in it, looked kind of hot in it. This is interesting to me because she was in her mid to late 40s when she did this show.

I remember her mainly from the movie Fried Green Tomatoes, which she made when she was 26 or 27 - and I had always thought she was unattractive from that show - I thought she looked like dippy, not sure how to describe it.
The main difference seems to be that in Weeds, first off she has better makeup, and secondly she's dyed her hair a darker brown, which makes her look more sultry. Her lighter brown hair in Fried green Tomatoes made her look more mousy or something.

Regardless of that, there's no denying she has aged well. She's even done nude scenes on the show, which shows she has certainly kept herself in good shape. Bear in mind I'm not saying she's an HB9 or 8 or anything. But I'd say she's a solid 7, or a 6 at least.

This interests me because of all the talk here and in the community about girls 18-24. While I agree those are probably most girl's peak ages, some girls actually get better looking when they get older (although this is far more common with men).

I actually think some of these women look kind of rough these days. I suspect a number of them were incuded because because of how hot they used to be.

I knew this one woman who was like this, she was incredibly youthful looking for her age (late 40s). She was married to this man for 30 years, and divorced him to run off with some other dude. It just goes to show that no matter how long you are married, a woman can always end it. They had a couple of children, at least she waited until they were grown and out of the house.

Meh, you can say that about younger girls too. Or are you saying there are no attractive older women? I can see that being your viewpoint since you're 26, but I see quite a few older women that look good to these 53 year old eyes.

idc ive always had a thing for shannon elizabeth. she easily tops that list for me and id still wreck that chick. same goes for monica belluci

sofia vergara shania twain and zeta jones were good looking in their youth

honorable mentions are rebecca romijn, carmen electra, famke janssen, alyssa milano and ive always liked connelys face but her body is lacking.

Most of those girls were better looking in their youth, though.
The weird thing about Mary Louise Parker is I think she looks better now.
Although she has to dye her hair to do it. But most young girls dye their hair too, so that's a wash.

I'd smash lucy lui, but that because I have a thing for asians. Honestly, every one of these photos is air brushed, plus they have professional talented make up artists.

I bet a lot of these women got saggy t!ts and bag under there eyes. It really depends how healthy they have been living all these years, plus genetics, staying out of the sun.

Diet, exercise, not drinking, smoking, or using drugs, an minimizing su exposure is the only way any woman this age can grasp on to what little youthfulness she has left.

Its all about damage control. Or just wear a lot of make up, get plastic surgery, ect

the west wing bro. she is a smoke show in that TV series. particular season 2 .


i met my wife when she was in her late 20's. she's now over 35. she doesn't have a 6 pack anymore, she had s 6 pack when i met her. shes' not as "hot" as she was when i met her but she's sexier to me. she stopped trying to be cool and go with brown hair and now it's jet black and she looks more exotic. She actually now has a clue how to dress like a woman whereas when i met her all she wore were blue jean shorts and flip flops which,c onsidering i'm a feet guy id idn't have a problem with, but still. she pulled off this outfit with some leather brown boots with this brown headband that she could nto have thought about pulling off when i first met her and it was so damn hot lol. When we first met, **** for the first 2-3 years, i would literally shop for her and pick out her clothes.

honestly, given the chance if single to date a smoke show 22 year old and a hot in shape 32 year old i would not think twice about it, i'd take the 32 year old. 10 out of 7 days.



this is the best way i can explain it. the older you get, the more things factor into what you consider attractive or not. it's not that young girls don't have perky tits, it's just that 31 i care about things besides perky tits in a woman lol, and those things usually the 21 year old woman doesn't have. I'm not one for drama or games, something that a woman generally doesn't comprehend until she's in her late 20's. the way a woman dresses to me is sexy not just her body and the avg 21 year old couldn't dress their way out of a paper sack. "flip flops, tank top and lip gloss" is not "hot" to me.


then on top of all that, you just don't have **** in common. what the **** am i going to talk to a 21 year old about lol? we don't like the same TV shows, we don't like the same music, we don't like doing the same things, we don't like ****, but ****ing, and i probably won't enjoy that much outside of hte first time lol.


If I were single I"d probably sport **** a 21 year old just cause i haven't done it in 7 or so years, but there is a 99% chance i would not take her seriously or want to date her.

Interesting that you say that. A lot of guys here have posted that women over 25 or so are damaged goods, jaded, man hating, bitter, alpha widows, crazy, or just have lousy personalities. They say that older women are unbearable to be around, and that you have to date young because they aren't ruined yet.

I've never really found that to be true. Older women tend to be more interesting to spend time with, and as you point out are less into drama than their younger counterparts. Of course, it all depends on the individual person.

However it is a universal fact that assuming all variables are constant (eating habits, exercise habits, makeup and dress style, etc,....) that age deteriorates the body and takes away the firmness, which is a prime attractant of youth.

Yes, obviously. In the case of males, however, I believe a certain amount of "weathering" can add some character to them that many women find appealing. In some cases, a certain amount of aging can make a guy look more rugged. That sort of thing doesn't usually look flattering on a woman, however.

You notice this in your example with hair coloring and such.....so I think the answer is there but just hidden under the cosmetic work of now versus then. In other words, I certainly don't believe that father time made her more attractive, but rather artificial cosmetic work has done the job.

Certainly the styling and cosmetic changes have something to do with it. What was odd to me was that I never found her even remotely attractive when she was younger. But give her some credit for staying in shape, taking care of herself, and probably good genetics. That goes along with being "well preserved", like you say.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it is impossible for a woman to look better when she gets older, but it is certainly very rare. But the point is, there are some attractive older women out there if you keep your eye open.

Older females look phenomenal nowadays, no joke. Look at some of you kid pictures. At 30 the women looked spent in the 80's. Now you get these Monica Bellucci's and Sofia Veragra's...goodamn! +1 for nutrition, health awareness, and plastic surgery.
