There are many different reasons to buy a car, one of the most popular once are for chicks, the other one is for yourself. You can't tell me with straight face that those geezer rides are for chicks or for yourself. Old people buy those cars.

Since the year you were looking on is 1998, I'll give you a few examples of cars you could buy for yourself and still get laid:

BMW M3
Range Rover
600SL
SL500 Roadster

Thing with American cars, besides Cadillac, Mustang, Corvette, Camarro most of it is sh`t. That's firstly, secondly American cars are designed to work flawlessly about 100,000 miles (on American roads), after 100,000 miles you begin to experience problems with engine, air conditioning, suspension, transmission. Panther body Fords you listed have already lived their lives, and you will be wasting your money on them, all for nothing. Plus I think as a 26 year old guy you should be wanting something more than a geezer car.

Germans build their cars really well, especially prior to year 2000. German car prior year 2000 can go 1,000,000 miles before you need to rebuild engine. Plus it's style, comfort, and an eye catcher!

I would recommend you say no to American cars, and buy a German car, or a Japanese Subaru.

P.S. Pimpish? No, poor, no money, ghetto, no taste, nerd, gay,

I feel you but I'll have to disagree with you on your ''PS''

I buy watt I like. If I had more money I'd buy one of the newer Lincoln Navigators or an Escalade. Don't really care of watt attracts more girls since I've never really had a problem pulling. I love sedans and big spacious vehicles. But the way I see it I wont buy something I wont like just to attract more percentage of the opposite sex. Not saying those cars you showed are wack, there nice. But there not my cup of tea.

My dad was a taxi driver in los angeles so I grew up riding around crown vics, lincolns, and grand marquis, always kept them in good condition and gave him no problems. he always converted the suspension on this when he bought them(witch was a 400 dollar fix) so yeah air conditioning and suspension were the only problems but after the conversion this cars are flawless. Other than that he always sold them at the 500, 000 mile mark with no problems. That's why I always liked this sedans.(They had a big influence on me growing up)

The car is nice, but you should be careful about that mileage. Backseat is right though American cars are trash after 100,000 miles, get you a Japanese car instead, those cars last for years on end.

I been searching for a truck, I'm going to get me an Nissan titan. I won't ever get an American car again. Jair your also right, cars don't get the girls, you can have an average car and still pull hot babes. Those cars he listed will have you in debt in a matter of years, buy what you can afford but also don't buy a car with high mileage if you can't afford something keep saving, but in my opinion don't ever buy a cars that's below 5 grand either.

Oh there is a difference between a taxi cab 500,000 and a family owned 100,000. Taxi cabs put half a million miles in couple of years, so you don't get much wear on rubber parts, you could still drive them without engine rebuild. But family cars besides mileage get rubber wear through time, and than 100,000 mile family car has much more wear than half a million mile taxi cab.

I owned a 1995 Crown Victoria Police, such a piece of crap car. I bought it at 110,000 miles, and got rid of it at 150,000 miles. You get problems with engine, mainly gaskets, EGR valve, PCV system. Then problems with cooling system. Problems with air conditioning. Problems with transmission pump.

Plus the the 4.6L engine eats a lot of fuel, a lot.

Basically it is a money black hole that you orbiting right now.

My advice buy something else, something that is not made in the USA, unless it's a Mustang, or Camarro, or Corvette. Perhaps a German car year 1992ish.

List your budget, I'll find you a chick magnet.

It's good that you said you not buying car for chicks, but then you said you buying car for yourself, and that big fat fuel gazzling thing is a bad choice.

those crown vics take some serious abuse from being cop cars man. one of my cousins is a cop in chino CA, and he tells me that they dont give the cars good maintenance. one of the reasons why my father never bought x-cop cars.

Yeah that's my only beef with foreign cars, they build their cars like the people in their countries, they forget that America is the most out of shape country on this planet lol.

Even though I'm getting smaller and smaller, I still desire a big car. That is why I'm getting a Nissan titan. Once I get that and a motorcycle I will make those two cars last me a lifetime.
