No, you're not wrong. Keep her as a friend only if that's how you both see each other.

I see alot of guys here who takes a LJBF as a whopping punch to their ego's and then want to punish the girl by severing the relationship.

This girl did nothing wrong, some women will be attracted to you, and some wont. Thats a fact of life. It goes both ways, can you imagine a girl that likes you, cutting ties with you because YOU werent attracted to her?

If you enjoy this girls friendship, just accept the fact that it will be nothing more than a friendship.

I think it is you who is being ungenuine to think of getting rid of a friend because she isnt attracted to you.

If a girl ( lets just be friends) me. I usually have to stay away from her. If I really like her, then get the ( want what I cant have) syndrome. Ill want sex with her so bad it hurts. Now what if she starts seeing other guys? Id cut her off. just for your own sanity.

I agree. I say keep the friendship, hang out and meet HER girlfriends. Anyway, girls talk. Come off as an @sshole just because your pride is bruised, who knows how many of her friends she will tell of your pissy behavior.

Learn to step back and see the big picture.

You've got 2 options here:

1-Cut her off COMPLETELY: If your attracted to her this is the best option for you. It will fuvk you in the head when you see her flirting with other guy's and hurt you more than help you in the long run.

2-Use her as Social Proof: If she's a hottie and girls see you together they'll assume your together. You can use her as a walking cane to sarge other girls, especially when you go out to bars and clubs.

Sounds like you liked this chick and she dissed you. So I would recommend cutting her off completely. Now if she calls you or says "hi" to you, still be nice to her, but don't go outta your way to conversate with her. Just be nice and move on. A lot of guys who lack experience need to remember that once you find a cool girl you can't change your life for her. You gotta remember you had a good life before her and you'll have a good life after her. Besides you should be talking to 3-5 girls ALL THE TIME!!

Pimp-sicle hit it right on the head. You got those two choices. If you think she's a nice person and would make a good friend (not to mention social proof) then take her up on the offer. But if she won't be of much use to you as a friend (or if she was just plain a b1tch to you) then cut her off. It might be hard, but you gotta do it to maintain your integrity in those kinds of situations.

I remember this girl who gave me the LJBF when I was an AFC. I told her that I had enough friends and cut her off. Sometime later when I was a student of SoSuave, I met up with her again for some charity event. We hit it off, and after two years of not speaking, lo and behold she starts to talk to me in school and on AIM. Never woulda happened if I didn't cut her off :D

Bull ****. If you got ljbfed after the fact u two fooled around and u still have feelings for da ho, then why be friends when all u wanted was to be with her and **** her. forget having a friendship with a girl who would've ****ed u but know da ***** did a 180 and ur stuck making love to your hand everytime u go home after seeing her. No man should have to put up with that BULL****.

Should you NEXT her on LBJF? It depends. I have too much experience getting LBJFed and having to make that choice, so I will try to write down the way I look at it:

NEXT if:

• You have any feelings of neediness or inadequacy around her, and being around her is hurting the development of your game or your prospects with other girls

• If you have one-itis for her. If you don't NEXT her, then the situation will get pretty messy for either you, or for you both. Trust me, I have been there several times.

• If she is very hot and creating an uncomfortable amount of sexual tension for you, or is distracting you from any other prospects

• If she doesn't reciprocate in the friendship

• If you weren't interested in her personality

• The rejection was painful, and you remember it each time you see her

Otherwise, I think staying friends with her is fine. Here is the basic idea: if a friendship would be healthy for her, stay friends, otherwise, don't be afraid to NEXT her. Do NOT stay in any interaction with ANYONE that is not healthy to you. More experienced DJs will be able to be with girls as just friends more easily, b/c they don't have as much neediness as AFCs. This is a matter of SELF-AWARENESS: you have to know when the interaction of healthy is not. So, I think that newbies/AFCs should generally NEXT after LBJF, b/c they will neither be able to avoid one-itis, or even recognize it. Why? Some guys will be so attracted to the chick or attached to validation from her that they will try to rationalize a way to be around her even if it isn't healthy to them (another lesson I learned the hard way). Also, more experienced guys can use LJBF-girls to meet other girls or for social proof. However, this strategy is probably beyond a newbie if he has one-itis for her.

Everything that's important has already been said by everyone but I'll add my 2 cents anyway :)

If you still like her, it will hurt like hell when she tells you about some other guy she's going out with, or if you actually see her with that guy, it will send you into a blind rage.

If you feel bad when you're around her because she rejected you, then it's time to bail. You should never hang around with any women that makes you feel angry, sad, depressed, or any other negative emotion.

So if either of these situations match you, then cut off contact completely because beleive me, it is not worth the extended pain you will go through if you continue to see her as a "friend" only.

If you didn't like her that much, and she just said no to a date and you're OK with that, then you can keep her around.
