I'm new to the site and only been dating 3 months or so after my divorce. I started messaging and now texting a woman on OKC. She's cute and on her profile she lists herself as a bi, so I'm totally curious about that. Might be the best chance for a threesome opportunity. Anyway, I'm throwing out the teasing banter and it's going good. She goes silent for a couple days when we were trying to finalize the first date logistics. So I message her and tease her saying she's trying to string me along and that I'm a busy guy, implying I've got options. Apparently she has pneumonia and has been sick the last few days. She didn't like the humor and basically snaps and says we might not be a good fit and wishes me well. I debated about replying, but I do so and say I know how she feels, I've had it too and it sucks. I only admit to it being a bad time for humor and wish her well. I also offer to bring some chicken soup. She immediately texts me back saying I'm amazing and she apologizes and says we'll get together when she is better.

My question. Is that too beta or did I handle it OK by not apologizing other than by saying it was bad timing?

If you two actually meet up and go out and something comes out of it... would it really matter?

By the way, beware the signs... if she's going to snap at you just over a text and throw away a possible quality guy like yourself... imagine what other surprises might lay in store.

Hard to tell at this point.. She could be a nice girl or that could have been her attempt at calling your bluff about having options..

I'd just watch out for her trying to use her daily life drama as leverage against you to chase her. Up next might be some story about someone making her cry at work and inevitably radio silence of feigned displeasure at your response to the situation.

Should you find yourself fortunate enough to engage in a threesome with two bi ladies, be prepared. You may find yourself competing for your woman's quim against another quim. This puts you into a new world which few of us are equipped to negotitiate.

If a woman is sincerely interested in you, she will accomodate you despite her current illness or let you know in various ways she is eager to engage. Your DJ radar will pick this up.

A quote I found here somewhere: "A woman who is passionately interested in me will forgive any minor mistakes I make."

Thanks DJs. I appreciate the advice.
