I got a friend add and a message on myspace about 3 week's ago.
It was from a girl that was about a 7, but the fact that she seemed ultra cool after talking to her boosted that to an 8.
We had made plan's to meetup and hangout do a movie or something. I don't have a vehicle and its about a 25-30 min drive to get to my place from hers, so she decided to come to me one day. She didnt end up making it do to lack of good directions and fear of the unknown, she was pretty blunt and straightforward about it....said sorry and she will try again on a nicer day and an exact printout of directions.
Needless to say we talked more online for another week and a 1/2 and we arranged to meetup again, this time she said she called off work and had to go through a ton of **** to get the day off, but mentioned a few times that it would be worth it to see me. She succeeded and we ended up hanging out, I told her on MSN that I play acoustic, and sang and was pretty good at it. She wanted to hear, so I sent her a piece of something I was recording and she asked if I could do something for her in person....sounded easy enough so sure, I had her meet me at a park and I had my acoustic with me....we had an ongoing joke online about me having a "flatass" cuz in one of my pics it looks like my butt is flat. So I said we will see when I meet you, and we had this "List of things to do" made up.
After me directing her how to get to me on the phone, we walked to each other and I gave her a nice hug and we proceeded to walk back to where I was stationed with my guitar. On the way there I fell behind and sorta looked her up and down and said "your ass is bigger than mine" And we had a damn good laugh and an ongoing thing throughout the afternoon/evening with the whole flatass thing.
Got back to the guitar, on top of a hill under a tree kinda far away from the crowd of people at the park. She promised she would sing for me, needless to say she would not even try so I manned up and serenaded her for a good 30 minutes, had a good conversation in between it all. Asked her if she knew how to play guitar, she said no and I jumped on the kino opportunity by placing her fingers in the appropriate places on the guitar showing her how to make chords and stuff, she seemed pretty comfortable with it. Didn't flinch or anything. She than began to place her hand on my arm and poke me and stuff saying "I can't believe it your right here next to me!"
From there we took a walk down some train track's and circled around back to her car to go see a movie....she complemented me a few times with stuff like "Your not thick at all your thin!!" (I told her im thick, and that my pics just make me look thin) "Your cheeks are cute and all red" "I love your dimples when you smile" "Nice tan".
So we hit up the movie, watched that, and than left the place she took me back to the park, and I got my guitar out of the trunk and all that and she didn't seem to be in a hurry she wanted to know if I wanted to go home or not, I said that I wasn't in a hurry and didnt have anything important to do so she said lets go walk around. Walked around the park a time or two and I led her back towards her car, Set my guitar down and said "I guess this is goodbye" with a light hearted laugh. She did the "aweee" thing and I opened my arms for a hug and she pressed into me and ran her fingers up and down my back briefly and said she had fun and enjoyed it.
She than wanted to know if I just wanted a ride home instead of walking from the park....so I said sure might aswell see my home, and she took me to my home. I got outta the car, went to the driver said went for a little high five type deal and it turned into a little hand hold for a couple seconds and I just let my fingers sort of gently slide off as if I was pulling a ring off her finger and said our goodbye's.
She wants to hangout again.
Was I wrong for not making a real move for a kiss or anything? I just wasn't feeling it, the whole straight from internet to meeting was a touch awkward and I think it was more of a priming date..........
Also after it all when she got home she hopped online later in the evening and complemented me further saying "your even more adorable in person"
Than said "im really big on hygene, and you were so clean and you smelled amazing, just thought id tell you that"
Then she asked me "Honest, can you answer somethign for me?" I said sure and she asked "Do I look better in person or in my pics?"
I told her she looked better and I was suprised, told her she was cute.
Discuss, im interested to hear thoughts and opinions.
