Was Pook a myth?

A Pook was a Pook. Wasn't that the first thing he taught us?

I was gonna say that too, then I realized he is asking more about 'who' he is rather than 'what'.

I recall reading some of his posts and he said something once about wanting to get married and having a LTR with kids and everything but that he can't because he knows exactly how they all are. And that when knowing that knowledge, you can control any woman into doing anything you want. Or at least something to that effect anyway. That basically means that no woman can ever be completely faithful.

What I don't fully understand is that when having that kind of power, why couldn't you just use it to keep them faithful, to always think of you and you only? Yet also do so in such a way that she is still able to do her duties. Why couldn't you be able to do that?

Complete bullsh!t. Nobody can control another person and trying to do so is doomed to fail. People in general seem to stick like glue if you leave them all opportunities to leave, thus reinforcing their perception that they choose to stay. When we feel we can choose we don't feel controlled, and generally people hate controlling relationships. This is also why nexting is better than clinging, because you show them you don't need them and might in fact have something of value to offer. It's then proven to them that you respect their freedom and don't control people (force them against their will with dirty tricks).

I think much of the reason for sh!t talking women on this forum is basically because like attracts like. Guys come here because they're sh!t, and naturally the first things they get is sh!t. It's us guys who are too blinded by pvssy and fairytales to forget being rational, and to be rational means to take a good hard critical look at a girl and ask the right questions. Learning pick-up, getting laid, spinning plates and building a fvcking personality is only a part of the game. If we really want a good girl we need to learn how to sort away all the bad ones, and we learn that by crashing and burning on sh!tty girls to learn the early red flags. What's left when all the crap ones are gone are the ones worth going for, and those girls you simply just trust until proven otherwise. Running around paranoid has never solved anything, and in fact only made things worse.

You know, it seems the ones with the biggest brains also have the biggest chance of mental illness. Although, Pook seemed, by his writings, to be very well calibrated. But what you mentioned here usually does come as a surprise. (not trying to start any rumors)

However....... I wasn't around in the Golden Age of Pook. But this is a strong statement.... "im sure" How are you sure? Pook's writing's are genius, most people wouldn't argue that. So, do you have some proof? Or is it just speculation? From what I can see, Pook did what he did on here for FREE. Maybe it slingshotted him onto something else, but if I was Pook, I would be a little resentful for making this site what it is, or what it used to be, and being left out in left out in the cold, if he was.

EDIT: you know, the more I think about it (speculating myself) there seemed to be a little Big Bang Theory in him. He was smart, obviously, but maybe that was something he couldn't get past. He's not here anymore....so, I guess, the speculations will surmount.

The reason why he did that was because it is what helped him gain muscle. He said it was the SoSuave of gaining muscle mass or something like that. It's just what helped him. And keep in mind that every body is different. They all react differently in different ways. But that's off topic. Basically, it was just what worked for him.

You do actions that cause them to think a certain way and thus shaping their actions into whatever you will it by your own actions.

That's controlling, you don't get the point. Women will know your game if you're playing any. Focus on finding a good one in the first place, and let her be as she is. Whatever way you try to control someone else they will notice sooner or later. I wonder, how much would you like being subjected to your own technique?
