I don't treat girls like I do my guy friends. Dude's just hang out for the sake of hanging out and having some decent convo/beers whatever. Relationships with girls are different, someone always wants something. If I meet a girl and she's all smiling/flirty i'll ask her out right at the moment she is smiling the most. If she says no, i'll still be cool and assume she's just a little intimidated, kinda chill but still be friendly with her. She gets all friendly flirty again? i'll ask her out again. Until it either stops, or she comes out with me. Either way i'll only try to close her 2-3 times tops before I assume she's not interested and just being friendly.
My point of view is that if she really likes me then she should trust me enough to do something together soon. I just can't understand a person that is attracted to someone and terrified of them at the same time. So as soon as I see the smiles and flirting i'll say something like "wow you are such a trip! lets hang out sometime! what do you usually do on weekends?". This is a great way to feel her out, if she's just shy she might just give me alot of info about what she does so maybe i'll meet her and her friends somewhere with my friends and have a very safe first hanging like that. If she's totally into banging me she'll start talking about how she stays home alot possibly or is sick of the club scene, then i'll just invite her for drinks somewhere more laid back. If she just wants an orbiter she'll look at me like a rapist and BS her way out of the hangout. Either way I know right there and then if I have a chance or not. If it looks good i'll ask her for her number after and get some further proof of her intentions like that. If shes all about going out and doesn't give her number then I know she's lying and just trying to sound cool or get an orbiter or has a boyfriend. No matter what if she is interested in me, she's giving me her number. I always make sure to keep things friendly so as not to close any doors. I just like to make sure I know the other doors are closed as well...
Last girl that did this to me was a friggin lawyer! We went to lunch together in a group and she was overtly flirting with me in front of her girlfriends! It was so obvious I thought "this horny little thing just might blow me in the bathroom like this!" it was like that, the other girls in the car were like "whoa!". The very next day I went to her desk and chatted her up a bit asked for her number super friendly and nothing! I even saw her on POF and sent her a very friendly message "oh hi lol so funny to see you here any luck!? I think this site sucks!" Didn't even reply, and just days after totally putting herself out there in front of me the way she did. She just wanted an orbiter! social proof! Silly HO's FOS!!
