Nice try with the analagy but I think his relationship with the girl (and any relationship) is a little bit more complex than the relationship he shares with his sh1t.

I feel like people here want to make everything black and white.
Theres a grey area when dealing with ex's.
Its alright to have grey areas where you dont know what exactly is the right answer. Just learn from the mistakes.
