Master Don Juan
Never ever fight unless you are forced into it. Just gonna get hurt, or hurt someone else. Somebody may just plain deserve it, but bite your tongue and be the better man.
This guy knows what he's talking about. Avoiding fights with random people is generally a good idea, because you just don't know who your dealing with.SmoothTalker said:There are a few things in life worth fighting about, but you typically don't encounter them drunk at a club or party.
It's stupid, usually the people looking to start a fight with you are losers that are in a ****ty mood because girls don't want them, or they have low self esteem and want to prove they're better than somebody by beating them up. Why encourage that?
There's no good outcome for a street fight. If you're an amazing fighter, you will beat the **** out of him without getting hurt yourself, congrats. And then you'll either be charged/sued/arrested or he'll pull out a gun, or find you when he's with a lot of buddies.
If you're both similarly skilled, you'll just both take a lot of physical damage. Even a silly little fist fight can cost you teeth, and those don't grow back.
And if you suck at fighting, well you'll just get your ass kicked.
Besides, I know sometimes people really are just looking for a fight, but at the same time in 4 years of clubbing/partying, nobody has yet tried to start a fight with me. I work out some, but I'm hardly what you would call very intimidating. The secret is, I'm not a douche to random people for no reason.
So, if people are always trying to fight you, maybe see if there's a reason why they want to fight YOU.
I'm experiencing this too lately. Random guys who want to fight me for no apparent reason. And yes, this is always when I'm hanging around girls. It's actually pretty easy most of the time to defuse it. It usually ends up with the guy actually being totally cool with me. I just be friendly, chill and open with them, but I display the body language of someone who isn't intimidated at all. It's all about having a more powerful frame.Julius_Seizeher said:There's always a reason people want to fight you, even if you have no background with them at all. They're jealous of you. There are a lot of underachieving and frustrated guys out there now, and when they get drunk, the sh!tty thoughts they have about themselves are easily transferred to YOU.
Remember, everyone pities the weak, but jealousy you have to earn. So if you have indeed earned the jealousy of another, be ready to confront it. Jealous people never look INWARD to fix their problems, they'd rather blame the way they feel about themselves on a stranger.
