So Just under a month ago I posted this article about how I had just lost my virginity at the age of 25

http://www.sosuave.net/forum/threads/im-25-and-i-lost-my-virginity-last-night.237487/#post-2380741

This is just an update for the guys who read the thread and gave me further advice.
Well we have kept on meeting up and having sex and yesterday on a date she brought up "the conversation". The result of which was that we have gone "official" as boyfriend and girlfriend and we sealed the deal with more sex.

I'm aware not to get to attached and get "oneitis".

A month ago I was a 25 year old virgin and now I'm finally living a more normal life.
Thanks for all the advice everyone.

I'd advice against spinning more plates when you're in a monogamous relationship.

Well it depends on what you define as "spinning plates" I guess, but seriously, don't cheat on her after making it "official", that's just a dick thing to do. If the OP wants to sleep around he shouldn't have made it "official".

It's okay to have "oneitis", as long as you don't put the pussy on the pedestal. Understand that she's always - at most - your equal. And if the relationship is no longer enjoyable, realize that she is replaceable. As long as you realize she isn't "the one" and that there are plenty of other fish in the sea if shit hits the fan, you're fine.

Yo you must be a new guy here. Have you read the dj bible? What you are saying doesn't make any sense.

Nope, 'been a member since 2014, it says so on my profile. I've read the entire bible in 2013 before I became a member and I've been in "the game" since you were only 9 years old.

What part of what I said didn't make sense? The part where I said he shouldn't bang other girls after going "official"? Or the part where I said he shouldn't put the pussy on the pedestal? Or what?

Well done mate buy yeah keep your wits about you. And don't get complacent. The game doesn't end when you become official by any means. The stakes just go up.

Then you are in the wrong place. All that is preached in here and more specifically, the contents from the dj bible, is a collection of real life experience and conclusions. Dj bible isn't just Pook.
And yeah , it's very "realistic" advice when he just lost his virginity yesterday and has no idea of what he wants.
That's one of the many reasons why spinning more plates helps you.

If you are off the market , then you are losing your power you have on your woman. When you have more options , you know your value and the women know it aswell.

Going into an official relationship with a woman you have no feelings and you don't want to develop feelings for her either , is just stupid. It's a proof of his fear to approach any other women and spin more plates.

Developing oneitis is a bad thing. It means that your options are limited and thoughts like" you will never find another one like her" start to appear. Like the op has a lot of experience already.

If you want to gain experience and be master of it, talk and fck more women. At the end of the day you will know what you want and you will be happier with your choices.

That's all my opinion.

Lots of assumptions.

I agree that being in an official relationship you have no feelings for is stupid, but you assume that the OP doesn't have feelings or doesn't want to develop feelings for his SO. If he didn't have the feelz for then why would he have made it "official"?

Putting the p*ssy on the pedestal is bad, thinking your girlfriend is "the one" is bad. And I warned the OP against those two things. Be wary, never let your guard down and never let a woman take control over your life. So in that sense, oneitis is bad, yeah. But it's not necessarily bad to be monogamous and just sticking to one girl, as long as you know what you're doing, that's all I meant to say.

If the OP wants to gain experience and be a master, he shouldn't have gone exclusive with this broad. If you or the OP or anyone else wants to sleep around and have tons of one night stands, f*ck buddies and smaller, non-monogamous relationships, then by all means, go for it, but don't be a cheating dirtbag is all I'm saying. If you want to sleep around, you shouldn't have the exclusive talk with women, you shouldn't make it "official". The moment you go official/exclusive, is the moment you accepted that for as long as this relationship lasts you will only be f*cking this one girl, and this one girl only. If you or the OP doesn't like the thought of that, then don't go official/exclusive. Simple, right?

PS: I think some of you put the DJ Bible way too much on a pedestal. Some of you are treating it like gospel. It's just a collection of personal experiences and advice from multiple people based on anecdotal evidence, it's not even a scientific paper, never mind an actual bible. There is tons of interesting and useful stuff to be found in the DJ Bible, for sure, and it helped me too, but lets keep it real and take it for what it is, a collection of experiences and conclusions based on anecdotal evidence.

It's different when you know the game and know how everything works and different when you just started.

I can tell you that 90% of people who fcked a woman for the first time , they went into an official relationship with them. But with time they get easily bored and in the end they feel hollow. When i fcked a woman for the first time , i went into an exclusive relationship with her. If it wasn't for this place here , i would still be a beta male and being submissive would be the only thing i knew about.
That's why you see many people in their 30s or 40s divorce and complain about how they messed up when they married their exs . Because they settled down with the first woman who accepted them and they putted their likings away. They didn't knew what they wanted.

The OP has no experience and he wanted some tips. I never tried to promote polygamy. I consider myself to be a big supporter of monogamy but I'm not into this phase yet.

I'll use an example. Women is like the dishes in a good restaurant. If i want to find which meal i like more , i have to try all of them. Then I'll have the required experience and come into a conclusion. If i go to this restaurant and eat only omelette without trying anything else , and say" this is the best meal i have ever eaten in this place" it's just stupid.

Don't cheat on her but keep your options open because I promise you she is doing the same. A lot of guys who get into a new relationship close themselves off completely from the female sex. This is WRONG. Having options keeps you on your toes and reminds you things are replaceable.

LTRs CAN be fufilling. You just have to be smart. Here are some protips

  • Continue improving - Having a girl is not the end game, she's along for the ride. Keep hitting the gym and pursuing goals.
  • Be a Leader - If this relationship fails it is a failure of leadership. When it comes time to make decisions, make them swiftly and confidently. Even if your not confident in them.
  • Do not show weakness - You are her rock, don't start wearing your heart on your sleve.
  • Know when to eject - Trust your gut, the minute you start feeling iffy withdraw. If she does nothing to quell this feeling you know what to do.
  • Manage the time you spend together - The key to longevity of a LTR is time management. You should never see each other too much, regardless of how long you stay together. Always maintain alone time and NEVER delegate your intimacy to phone calls. If there is enough time to talk on the phone for 30 min. You or her can stop by.

Good luck.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

Sure, that's one way to look at it, and that's perfectly valid. But what if the first woman you get into a relationship with is a good match and someone you might be able to spend the rest of your life with? Would you throw that away just so you can taste other "dishes"? Think about it.

Personally I care more about fulfilling relationships than my notch count. The way I do it, is when I'm single, I sleep around, until I find a woman who doesn't just pass my boner test but also manages to intrigue me outside of the sack, then I'll pursue a monogamous relationship with her. And if the relationship fails, no big deal, I'll simply start sleeping around again until the next relationship candidate pops up. But yeah, not gonna lie, I do hope to eventually settle down and start a family, get a house together, get 2 or 3 children together, and now that I'm approaching my 30th birthday I do hope I'll get to settle down sooner rather than later, 'no 'am sayin'?

You can never really know if the first woman you have a relationship with is a perfect match. It's always a risk. But how can you know that she's the one if she's the only you have ever had a sexual interaction with? Both monogamous and polygamous lifestyle, is a double edged sword.

To be honest with you , i feel exactly the same way like you. I'm in my early 20s and i don't feel like settling down but on my 30s i have the same plan. We'll see.
