and wrestling? are u from the early 80's? wrestling has made it no secret that it's scripted over the last 20 years. it doesn't try to hide it like vh1.

We saw brady with his shirt off during that pool pic, I don't remember him being anywhere as ripped as he is in that photo. Maybe that pic is photoshopped?

Those guys are actors, but are still nobodies.

No wonder why Cosmo and Joe W sound gay, they must've hanged out with their drama club a lot in high school. Having a feminine talking style isn't the fastest way to attract women.

I find it suspicious that they didn't include the performance backgrounds of the participants.

Some parts did seem scripted such as the stripper leaving in the middle of a shift. But we can't really find out for sure until something big comes out like a confession.

I was thinking the same thing, the guy has a gut. Besides, it looks as if his head had been cropped and placed on that photo. To add to it, if he is actually represented by that firm, why can't you find him in the main catalog? There's something for our resident conspiracy theorist to chase down.

Why does this matter? Movies are fake. Sit-coms are fake. All the big primetime dramas are as fake as can be. We still learn from them and enjoy them, right? Honestly, I don't give two sh!ts if this show is real or not.

Also, you guys act like actors and comedians are all studmuffins or something. Lots of stand up comedians are either depressed, neurotic, socially awkward off-stage, or just grew up as "the weird kid". Only really famous actors get booty at a rate higher than any other random guy.

I see these guys' professions as a non-factor. They're still horrible with the ladies, acting or not. The show may have scripted parts, but you can't prove that ALL of the interactions with the girls are fake.

I'm still going to watch this show, and I'm still going to enjoy it just as much as I have all along. If your whole world falls apart because a TV show turns out to be 'fake', maybe you should re-evaluate your life.

Well I for one find this pretty interesting. But the simplest explanation is that it's real. They're all aspiring actors, simply because no normal person would ever sign up to be on a reality show. Only aspiring actors.

fred turns out to be a stand up comic. not exactly the lonesome loser everyone thinks he is.

Have you ever seen an amateur stand up show? Remember, Carrot Top is an A-list comedian!! Stand up comics, especially amateurs, are very often massive nerds.

I'm not saying it's not shady. I just doubt they hired actors on purpose, and then scripted the show.

Dude, it's Hollywood. Of course it's scripted. It's pure theatre.
If you think they are going to spend tens of thousands of dollars a day just shooting film, hoping they'll get some footage that is usable? They aren't filming a nature documentary.

It may not be scripted in the sense of they are fed every single line.
But they pick people with some theatre/acting backgrounds so they can improv scenes.

You ever see actors doing improv workshops? They play a general role and improv their lines and play off/against each other.

The people in the Real World cast play those roles too. The ones like Tanya, come back year after year because she knows she's suppose to play the role of "The *****". And she creates drama on purpose to spice up the storylines among the other cast.
