I'm actually worried for you that you would even consider changing what degree you want for some unknown at this time possible future prospect.

You need to lose that process of thought.

Questions to the OP:

1) How physically attractive do you consider yourself (1 thru 10)

2) Are you physically fit and toned/muscular?

3) Do you defy the typical CS nerdy/geeky look?

4) Do you have charisma and a personality that makes women laugh and attracted to your confidence?

Depending on what your answer is, it may work FOR YOU suprisingly.

I have been in IT for over 14 years, even worked for NASA and became an IT instructor for Astronauts. I am 6'2" tall, toned, broad shouldered, and defy the typical steretype of IT career field nerd/geek appearance. Even my personality is very charismatic and social (when I want to be but I am a true introvert inside).

Everytime I tell a woman who is into me, after they begged to know what I do for work, and then I tell them I am in IT - they would be shocked and would have never thought of it. To them, it is like discovering the Holy Grail - a geek in a Romeo meat suit, it is like the next best thing to sliced bread for them. Geek/Nerd means to a woman that you have ambition, future, $$$$, intelligence, amongst other things. It is not a negative, unless you have zero personality, zero looks, and like the stereotyped CS majors - they don't take showers, smell bad, and don't shave.

Don't be like the stereotype - make it work for you and I promise women will think they have a great catch.

Good luck.
