Very confused

This girl is really confusing me. At times it seems like she's interested, and at others it seems like she's not.

For example:

Signs of disinterest:
- Told me she'd go to Junior Prom with me, then turned me down for someone else (says she has no feelings for him and said she hopes I wasn't hurt) <---- this one's pretty big
- Never texts me first
- Sometimes ignores my texts

Signs of interest:
- Sometimes hits me up randomly whenever I don't hit her up for a while, but never over the phone (only over Facebook)
- When she does respond to my texts, she responds with much more than I wrote (I'm talking a paragraph)
- Laughs at my jokes and smiles when she talks to me
- Told me she'd miss me

You guys always say "assume attraction", but it's pretty hard in this case with such a confusing girl.

A girl shows enough of her cards, but never all of it, to show YOU that SHE might be interested or is really interested, and they hope that by doing this, YOU will take the lead and get the balls to escalate and advance the relationship. All of this guessing game crap is BS. I'm not saying it's true, but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter because it's all dependent on you.

The fastest and most direct way to figure this out is to make a move. You didnt provide a lot of info, but it sounds like you havent done anything with her yet. Make a move and you will have your answer.

Otherwise, you could always try no contact.

Seems like she just wants the attention from you. Shes prolly an attention wh*re, but regardless you should still arrange a day to hangout to see where things go.

She has no interest in you..I would go 100% NC for awhile to see where she stands.
