I think it's a combination of things
1. Technology
50 years ago, you grew up in a town, you met a girl, you want said kit kat, she wants stability, quid pro quo, bida boom bidda bing. Now, with facebook, the fact that I can get on a plane in the morning and by the afternoon, the world is alot bigger place. The same fish are in the same sea, but you have been let out of the fish tank and into the river so to speak.
Go bac and ask yourself, all those 70 and 80 year olds, would they have been as down home and wholesome if they could meet a woman on myspace and get laid?
2. Information
As the previous poster alluded to, we just know too much now. though I know alot of "normal" people and this is not that big of a dettorant. it's like pissing in the wind. All you get is "well, be happy being old and lonely" and **** like that or "well, I understand your point but my girl is different"
3. Unwanted goods
I think women hold the same value as they always have. But, no one, never has, never will.. a divorced woman with a child is never the apple of every man's eye. This woman was an outkast in the bible, she was an outkast in the dark ages, and she's an outkast now. But with divorce rates up so much, alot of women fall into this catogory which brings me to my last point
4. stupid women
I understand women are more emotional than rational, but I think, this generation of women, or better stated, they..well for back of better word, just make stupid ****ign decisions.
when my mom and dad got divorced as pissed as my mom was, she didn't piss off my dad. My dad in turn, I guess out of guilt, lol, cut my mom's yard until the day I turned like 14 years old, and then I had to do it. Whenever she was in any type of financial bind, she called him.. this is years after being divorced. There was nothign there (although I did catch them having sex like a year or so after they got a divorced, but was too young to know what was going on). My point being, although hurt, my mom was prudent not to burn brigades. She didn't mistrerat mean, she didn't scorn him with threats.
You have women today, they burn bridges, ever before they can walk on them. Every guy here, well not every but most, i know me, did not just not get the girl, was just treated like a ****ing dog sometimes. They thought that, I guess that, the same status would always hold up. By the time that 24 year ld woman becomes 35, she has ****ed over every man that was interested in him, blue balled every possible date, lied, cheated, to the point she has no options left. I'm not saying she should put out, but, dont' burn bridges, dont' be an *******. you have alot of women who are *******s to men, just becuase they can be and becuase they are pretty, and the **** bites t hem in hte ass when they get older when all those ass hole men, are know the type of man you wish were buying you that 2nd car but now your old sagging tit ass is at a bar at midnight hoping to get hit on.
Alot of them dont' understand, that when you are 23-24 years old and that smoking hot bod you have, you are spposed to use, to lock up the best possible long term mate you possibly can. Marry your daughters when you can. But too many are too busy playing games, going clubbing and wasting valuable time. That's one thing I respect about my old oneitis, she got it. She knew she only had so long and each day she gets unhotter and unhotter (although i must say at 27 she looks better now than she did at 21, and she was hot at 21, you get the point, she always had a big head lol, she grew into it)
