valentines day

so I call myself slick and really tried to surprise my wife with the trip to hawaii, so I went through the labor of printing out an envelope and i put the tickets in the mailbox with the mail. even put a little postage stamp on it.

when she got home I wasn't there. I was expecting you know this call from her all excited or what not, didn't come. okay so i walk through the door and she is acting pretty normal. I'm like okay.. hey did you check the mail. yeah i checked it, you didn't get anything lol I'm like humm... you sure you checked the mail. she said yeah i checked it. long story short she thought it was junk mail and didn't bother opening it and threw it away lol. so i had to dig through the trash and get it out and give her the tickets. anyway she's very happy, just didn't go how i planned lol.

lol... "never dig through the trash can... you may never find what you'd looling for...."

I think it's nice. They don't make MEN like that anymore.

Because women like his ex-wife don't exist anymore.

Valentine's Day is probably just like other "gift-giving" days:

It's "iffy" to spend your time or money in an attempt to earn a woman's affection. Instead, it's a HUNDRED times better to spend your time or money to reward a woman for the affection that she has previously or continuously shown you.
